A roasted variant on a dish my Dad named Bachelor stovetop casserole. I change it up a lot. Today's particular variant is a large layer of Yukon Gold Potatoes, in a bed of olive oil and whole garlic segments, covered with a layer of large pieces of yellow onions, then a layer of red, yellow and orange bell peppers, a layer of broccoli, finished off with a layer of polska kielbasa. Olive oil drizzled on top. I like the char and flavor that roasting imparts. Yes, this is a very large batch. This will be dinner tonight, but I'll be taking the rest to a New Years eve dinner at Dorothy's tomorrow night. Yes, I'm a pig, but not that big of a pig.3 points

A few years ago I replaced 2sj79 and 2sk216 with ksa1220 respective ksc2690 on both Blue Hawaii and T2 and that without changing any voltages. Below chart show voltage cross source and drain on T2´s Q26,Q27 during power on, 30 second wait and power off. So far I haven’t had any ksa1220 or ksc2690 blowing up. Today I reduced voltage further on my T2 PSU, 300V section now 200V. Seems to work as good as with 300V. High voltages are now +/-400V, +220V, -260V and -460V. The reduce voltage also lowered the maximum voltage on graph above to 200V2 points

An Icon in every sense of the word. I was first introduced to her as Sue Ann Nivens, on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I've loved everything she's done and stood for every since.1 point

Happy Birthday! It's been great getting to know you. Decaf sounds like a good idea! Try something totally outlandish today, perhaps? Like the Kasuya 1:12 rapid pour.1 point

Reduced “300V section” a bit more, to 150V. Now the high voltages are +/-400V, +220V, -310V and -460V. Graph below shows voltage cross 2sj79 (Q24/25) in blue and cross 2sk216 (Q26/27) in red during power on, wait 30 seconds and power off. I can’t hear sonically differences between original voltages and reduced voltages.1 point

Rex Stout - Fer-De-Lance. My first Nero Wolfe. I like it! I think I’ll for sure be coming back to Nero and Archie for some more fun mysteries in the future. - At a friend’s suggestion I did an experiment and read this while listening to music in the background. The friend mentioned that having ambient music on while reading helped their brain having something to bounce off of when they inevitably lose focus on the book. There might be something to that. It seemed to work for me. I burned through the book a lot faster than I usually do in just two evenings.1 point

^ Yellowjackets here as well. The cast is fantastic. So far I'm enjoying it.1 point

Watching Yellowjackets (Showtime). Kind of a cross between Lost and Lord of the Flies. I kind of like it. Girls HS soccer team supposed to go to nationals in 1996. Private plane they are on crashes. Most survive, and aren't found for nearly 2 years. 20 years later catching up with those who made it out. Something bad happened out there... but no one is talking.1 point

RIP John Madden. A great coach and the GOAT of color commentators (not bad at video game investing either). His presence was big when I lived in San Ramon. He was regularly seen dining at local restaurants.0 points
