  1. I loved Hogan's Heroes so much that I started digging a secret "tunnel" in the field behind our house. I never got further than a hole a few feet deep with a piece of plywood covered in dirt clods and weeds as camouflage, but I still outfitted it with some stuff and played out there... RIP LeBeau 😢

  4. Soooo, back tracking again. I bought the Aluminum Cali Tool from Amazon but did not notice the seller was one of those mini Amazons that sell everything from their own warehouses after several delays in shipping I finally got the delivery today, and it was a cheap patio heater. So that was refused and is going back and I went and got a 26 gallon quiet tech and an auto drain from Lowe’s. They even had it priced wrong with a sticker so I got it for $50 less than the going price. Now I am compliant with all of Steve’s recommendations.

  5. Building back on the new job. The painters have their work cut out for them, making the battered old trim look good. I only have to trim two doors with old trim. You know you're working on an old house when the nails you remove look like this.

  7. Mad science shit... I got it mostly dialed in. But after pulling six double shots, sampling them all and drinking two of them completely, I am buzzed...

  10. I would much rather have snow over the nasty rain. I actually enjoyed shoveling the driveway. First time in at least seven years. Not sure how long the enjoyment will last.

  12. It is, no more time wasted for it waiting on me to change the tool. No more zeroing on every tool change. Also using my work offsets now as well so no need to do corner finding. Just place the material and go. Next up is a vacuum table.

  13. ^^ Sent me on a look for new music. I had not looked in a while because my queue is too full. But I found this new one: Live At The Bon Soir Barbra Streisand 2022 https://album.link/i/1644193183 Example: One of several that I could have posted from this album. I really enjoyed this mostly raw performance of show tunes and standards. Hard to think of this as a 20 years old Barbara, belting out songs and giggling in-between while talking with the band.

  15. Since it's pegged, it surely will drop at a rapid pace. It's been 21 years since I shoveled snow, and I'd be quite content to go at least another 21. I did have 40 years of shoveling bliss after all. Time to let someone else have some of the fun.

  18. Smashing Pumpkins, Atum - Act I -- what in the actual fog is this? Completely different songwriting style for B. Corgan & co. Maybe his inner drama theater club member is showing itself? Can't say as I mind -- I mean, Anna Kendrick had it.

  20. Finished the mini bedroom audio rack with Rubio Monocoat and glued it up. Now in place and making me happy. Also shown are the Bendy Head headphone stand from Peter @Iron_Dreamer and coasters from Nate. Thanks again guys, and thanks to Steve for the design, lumber, and help building!

  23. I'm definitely coming around on them. 😁 I am totally enamored with the singing by Nemophila's lead singer. Have you done a deep dive yet? Part power metal with Van Halen harmonies; part harsh (witchy-poo, but very musical). It's not prog, but sometimes I just want dumb old rock'n'roll that's catchy as shit.
