May be good to compare Lumix LX3 prices before and after LX5 recent launch. Looking at past RSS feeds seeing $387-399 prior and $368-391 now ($499 retail) for same stores pulled. For me the issue is I usually see the GF1 - zoom lens package on sale. If I wanted to carry a zoom I wouldn't be using a GF1, so this one appeals to me. And 'Reks if it was only so easy.

32% Of iPad Owners Have Never Downloaded An App Is this accurate??

I know this is a kind of ridiculous question, but as I haven't heard the 3A and some here have, I'll ask... As the JH13s scale so well, you can kinda separate its uses as portable, transportable and non-portable. I got equipment for all three (mostly thanks to Apple & HeadAmp), but I find myself rarely covering the middle ground. Basically almost always either use the JH13s straight out of a DAP/tablet or want a home DAC to soar. So while definitely steps up adding a portable amp and then USB powered DAC, I just don't find myself carrying them around much. Really go portable or quality. And since picking up a used DA10, and it's damn good single box solution with the 13s, besides the AC requirement, don't find it much more inconvenient to carry around in a backpack than a portable amp and portable DAC and cables. As a few of you know I have a JH16/3A order in (made before I received the JH13s - I know, I know), so here's the question - for those who've heard the 3A (even in meet conditions, in the compromised setup and obviously an earlier version - it's a big stretch to even approach a guess), is it completely unrealistic to expect near Parasound 1X00 (with Pico Slim or GS1) or Lavry DA10/Apogee Duet (single box) quality directly out of the 3A (assuming bumps on IEM end)? I know it's unlikely one has heard half these scenarios. Just wondering if the level of quality is extremely unlikely to be approached? Or rephrasing, from your gut reaction, is the 3A+JH1X likely (from few clues you've had) a bump of the standard JH1X, or a real equivalent of a home standard JH1X system? Were there glimpses of the latter in your tests?

Wouldn't the concern be the other way around? Unless you're saying 'powered by' then I think the 3As battery/AC will take care of that, no? And iPads have been part of the 3A discussion from the start so I hope it's 16/48 output is taken into account.

Damn, I was just going to place an order. There are always PC Microstore coupons on the web and at least the larger OtterBoxs are 1/4 off (and possible other coupons out there).

Had a CRT, but mostly watched everything on a laptop, iPad or in theaters. Either travelled to the big screen (much easier in SF than the burb I recently moved to) or replicated the hidden book and flashlight under the covers thing (watched Gus Van Sant's LAST DAYS with iPad and HD25-1s last night). Like the intimacy, like headphones. Know it affects the films watched, like headphones. Have to admit I'm a bit bias (have said a few times "becoming an audiophile pushes you towards better music, but becoming a videophile nudges you towards worse films." Only half believe that, but am a tiny bit nervous of the candy pull. I certainly can get distracted. Anyway, I've crossed over (picked up the Emotiva sub on sale also) so will see where this leads. Revisiting 2001 is a great suggestion. Curious of checking out IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE and 2046 again too. I'm sure in the end I'll probably like the jump. Please attack me if I start posting about the beauty of THE FIFTH ELEMENT though. Speaking of 2001, will be interesting to see how the GF reacts tonight when she returns from trip with a monolith on the wall. Maybe I should have the soundtrack playing.
