That was me, I was using my Imod,Lorracco PRII with ad744 mod,which drove ethier phone supprissingly well. The crowd was divided on which headphone they preffered. Now these are meet condition impressions.I preffered the LCd2s over the HE5s The HE5s had a bigger headstage ,good detail alittle on the bright side/thinner sounding then the LCd2.The Hd800 came to mind when listening to the HE5. The Lcd2 with the leather pads had a little more body to it,Annie Lenox's voice was more holographic,Headstage not as big as the HE5 more like a Grado but bigger. Bass was a little muddy on the LCD 2 /But the annie Lenox album Bare the bass is muddy on the recording. The Lcd2 with the Hybrid pads Velour/leather lost some of the holographic body to annie Lenox's Voice but the Headstage seemed bigger more in line with the HE5.I compared the two differant pads side by side Unfortunately the pads are not changeable because of how the LCD2 is built. I asked Alex if you could buy both pads seperately,you have to order the headphones & specify which pads you want,I would like to see that fixed in the final production LCD2 I thought the LCD5 was more comfortable then the HE5,Others said they had more of a clamping force using the LCD2 with the leather pads as opposed to the velour/leather Hybrids I did not have this issue. For the money I think ethier headphone is a bargin,I will be borrowing a HE5 in the near future. These are meet impessions so take them with that in mind. I will order the LCD2s probably with the leather pads/Alex preffered the Hybrids. After I spend more time with the HE5s I will decide if I will buy them as well.

Sugarland opened up for Kieth Urban at the Garden. I have to tell you it was a great concert,the Garden was jumpin.

I used Conrad Johnson Premeir 12 140 watt monoblocks with My K1000s with great results.

I use Mullard pcc88s in my melos as tube of choice.

I paid $95 a few years back for that cable,You may want to contact Drew at moon audio for the connector,he may have some available. He made some adapter cables a while back.

Why just not just call Senn Usa & order a HE90 cable with the connector atttached.(ask for Dwight Stevens in the parts department) You can cut the cable to add the HE60 adapter to the cable.

Paul McCartney at Citifield last night. Great concert the man still got it. Last time I saw him was at Shea stadium in 1965 Beatles concert,sound Quality was much better this time around,but no other concert I have ever seen is more memorable then the 65 concert with the 56,000 screaning fans.

The voice cables where at the past NY meet last DEC in Harrison. I listened to the hd650 not knowing price it sounded very good,but it was in a very HIend system. The cotton covering completey turned me off,I could invision this cable after a while just getting dirty looking, at normal cable pricing that was enough for me not to even consider the cable,let alone $1400.00.

I looked online at lowes & home depot & didn't see it listed anymore. It looks more like the pelican case only deeper.

I use a metal toolcase from lowes,You can get them from home depot as well( I like the Lowes one better) about $25.00. Has the foam insert you can take out pieces form fit whatever you want to put in it. Thats what I store My Hp1000s in.

A cheap fix for your cable problem,get 2- 75ohm to 300 ohm adapters at radioshack. Connect the 2 -300 ohm wires from each adapter together & insert the adapters in your incoming cable before your cable box. Basically you are converting your 75 ohm cable to 300ohm back to 75ohm by doing this. I got this tip from a cable tech & it works. There are some high end adapters that do the same thing I beleive Madigral(Levinson made one year back) for about 100 bucks.
