  2. Happy <insert whatever they call birthday's in th UK> Duggeh!
  3. I wonder if HiFiMAN is likely to update the HE-6 (call it the HE-6B, or something) by changing over to the new headband and pads, and have the best of both worlds in their flagship? Or are the older drivers too heavy for the newest headband's design?
  4. What are you using to drive them Ed?
  5. Happy Birthday Al!

    House of Cards

Just started Season 1 last night. Great show, we're hooked.
  10. ^Nice package. Really? Seems more like an "up to..." offer. What did you need to trade in to get the full $300?
  11. Happy Birthday!

  14. For those of you that picked up the EOS-M during last year's big price reduction sale, what are the main objections to this camera? Have the focusing speed issues been resolved (or at least markedly improved) with firmware updates? What else is wrong with this camera?
  15. Happy Birthday Jeff!
  16. I kinda want to hear about this supposed sub-$700 doll.
  17. The Graham Norton Show - last week's ep with Idris Elba, Lena Dunham, & Olivia Colman - hilarious!
  18. I like my PCM-D50 for playback of .wav files (Redbook and the occasional PCM 24/96) from a sound quality standpoint. I don't mind the basic, single-level album folder style navigation. Although it's quite overkill for my use-case, which is work environment listening & never recording. Nicely built, solid piece of kit though. I also have not compared it to other recorders or hi-res audiophile DAPs. So this post is pretty much worthless to you.
  19. Watched episode #3 tonight. It just keeps getting better.
  20. I think it's pretty clear that the unit shown in the pic from CES is a prototype. I'd bet that the final version won't look like that, other than the nameplate. McIntosh has historically not been a me-too company. They also are pretty adamant about in-house development & manufacture. I hope the headphones models will adhere to a similar ideal. Otherwise they will be just overpriced copies.
  21. Happy Birthday!

  23. They seem to be selling them through their eBay store for $499 with free shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HeadRoom-Ultra-Desktop-DAC-UDAC-000-001-2600-/200967771864?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eca9cd6d8 As long as you don't mind the built-in USB implementation to be limited to 16/44.1 or 48kHz
  24. Happy Birthday!
