  1. If I didn't have prior plans I would absolutely be there...not in the least to express my gratitude to @dsavitsk in person for the awesome amp he made for me. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. Have a great time, everyone!
  2. RE: MSB If this is true then maybe they need to raise $$$ for their founders legal defense fees? http://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/the-boss-of-msb-raped-his-own-daughters.1946/
  3. David Foster Wallace's 2005 commencement speech at Kenyon College. DFW is such an amazing writer. This is a great read if you are having a shitty day. http://web.archive.org/web/20080213082423/http://www.marginalia.org/dfw_kenyon_commencement.html

Witcher III story is just fantastic. The "Hearts of Stone" DLC is amazing as well and should not be missed.
  8. Sometimes you are just in a David Lynch kind of mood...
  9. That was a fun first weekend of games. Top 3 seeds in the West all romped, but that was to be expected. Detroit came so close to stealing game 1 from Cleveland. I am looking forward to watching Toronto fight for their lives tonight as an appetizer before a GSW main course.

^ I want to try Dark Souls 3 but I'm going to wait for them to patch the game in to shape. Right now it isn't a bad PC port but it certainly isn't good. I've found most developers patch their game in to shape right around the time they release their first major DLC. Speaking of which... I finished Fallout 4 this weekend. It took a few months, but Bethesda finally patched the game enough that I could run it without running in to choppy performance or game breaking bugs. The world of the Commonwealth in Fallout 4 is just magnificent. It might be the most impressive virtual game world I've seen in any game. I sunk 35 hours in to my playthrough and I feel like I've explored less than 1/4 of the locations. The amount of stuff that they crammed in to the game is mind-boggling. I barely completed any of the side-missions and I still clocked 35 hours to finish the main story. Speaking of which, the story is the weakest part of this game... it really lets the game down, especially the ending. Compared to the gold standard for story in massive RPG games (The Witcher III) this gets a bronze medal at best. You have to choose one of four factions to ally with, all of whom suck. The main quest line is, outside from a few standout missions, pretty forgettable. Still, I really enjoyed my playthrough. I feel disappointed by the story and let down by the ending, but I have to applaud all the work that went in to this game. 4.5/5. Relative to the big games from last year I'd put this 2nd after (the amazing) Witcher 3 but ahead of MGS V on my own personal list. Highly recommended.
  11. Awesome videos, Chris! I think you need to come online and hone your skills in PCars at some point this week.
  12. Happy birthday, CS!
  13. It not the best movie, but the soundtrack is fucking amazing.
  14. That was such a fun night as a fan. I switched over to the Lakers game after Steph hit 400. Kobe went out in the most Kobe way possible. So much fun to watch both games.
  15. What a night. 73, 402, and 60! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Happy birthday, CSW!
  17. The playoffs start this weekend so I can't wait to find out! Also, from the Saturday game vs. the Grizz:
  18. I can't say "73" without smiling! This team is inspiring. They've been the best story in sports all year long and they just keep going. Their determination and will-to-win has been incredible. The MVP is the MVP.
  19. Warriors are 5.5 point underdogs on the road in San Antonio. I realize: 1) Its the 2nd game of a back to back, 2) They seemingly haven't won a (regular season) game there since the 1990's, 3) The biggest thing they have to play for is a record that won't mean much if they don't also win a title, 4) It may just be the homer in me, but gimme the Warriors to win this one!!!!
  20. Are you kidding me, Warriors? Stage is set for tomorrow night in San Antonio. It'll be must-see-TV.
  21. New Ken Burns Doc on Jackie Robinson premiers Monday on PBS. Hell yes! DVR is set!
  22. 73 will come down to the Spurs game in San Antone on Sunday night. It should be a great one to watch.
  23. Record is still alive, but it seems more important to focus on re-integrating the guys who are coming back from injuries like Iggy and Ezili. I don't think they will rest any core players unless they lose both Spurs games. As long as 72 or 73 wins is still a possibility they are going to go for it.
  24. It was vs. the Wolves. Here I was thinking the Warriors would win easily and I'd get to see the Minnesota young-guns show their stuff. At least I was half right. KAT is already a monster. Someone on twitter called him a "fully armed and operational battle-station." I agree.
  25. The Hinkie resignation letter is fascinating. http://espn.go.com/pdf/2016/0406/nba_hinkie_redact.pdf
