FWIW, at the last bay-area mini-meet we had a big shootout with 1k-2k tube amps. We had: My Crack 2 The DNA Stratus The EC Zana Deux Super One of Mikhail's Singlepower OTL amps. ECP Torpedo III My memory may be off, but I think the DNA Stratus came in dead last for everyone who did the test except the guy who owned it. I'm not sure its the amp I'd lust after to pair with the HD800s.

It was a fun game. The call at the end annoyed me too, but the Warriors had already given the game away in the 2nd half. The missed call just made a very unlikely comeback more unlikely than it already was. Warriors are going to have to play better if they are going to win this series, in particular the Warriors centers. Klay also didn't seem like himself after RWB nearly decapitated him with an elbow on the big collision the two of them had. I hope he didn't get a concussion. I gotta hand it to the OKC guys though. Adams was amazing (+19!!!) and Chuck nailed it, RWB is tough as nails. He took some very big hits and came right back to dominate the second half. -- They say a series doesn't really start until someone loses at home. Well... game on!

GSW v. OKC should be really fun to watch. The stars are going to shine bright. With Steph, Klay, Draymond, Russ and KD there are 5 of the top 15 players in the NBA that are going to be on the floor to start these games. I think Warriors get it done in 6. I hope this series makes up for what seemed like a slightly disappointing OKC v. SAS conference semis. The first and last games were blow outs, and two of the closer games were marred by horrific officiating on the final possession. -- If Toronto can even get a game off Cleveland I will be impressed.

Gonna be starting Uncharted 4 tonight. Super psyched. The Uncharted series are the Indiana Jones games we've always deserved. Can't wait to see how the 4th one came out.

I agree, Purk. If these were $995, they'd be a huge hit. I also agree, Larry. The "C" seemed to be better tonally balanced but the open Ether was clearly superior on bass and sound-staging. I have to say I was impressed. The Ether Open is very close to a headphone I would actually buy.

I was pretty disappointed by the new Radiohead as well. It is better than King of Limbs, but that isn't saying much. In Rainbows was good, but nowhere near the groundbreaking statements that some of their earlier albums are. I also agree with Dusty, listening to it made me what to go back and listen to the Bends-Computer-Kid A albums from back when Radiohead really made their name. I'm glad I got a chance to see these guys live a number of times in college and law school. It feels like their glory years are a long way behind them.
