I was just looking at the 24.3K BOM and Mouser, and it appears that Mouser doesn't stock 6 of the resistor values anymore (in the IRC/TT PFC 1206). If anyone has already worked through this problem, let me know. Also, I assume that this version of the attenuator (Kerry group buy, 24.3K impedance) would work fine with the Multiamp? Timely, I know Chris

Would changing to discrete input diodes, perhaps even Schottkys (31DQ10?) help for this?

RIP Kenny and Omar I grew up as a huge Raiders fan during that time frame.

That's what I thought as well, but I was under the impression that the industrial ratings were twice that of the mil-spec, not 4 times as this shows...- 419 replies

The modified e12 boards that I laid out and home etched had a PSU ground connection on them and this was what I used for the comparator ground, not the virtual ground. The vgnd bounced around too much, particularly before he went to the rail to rail relay. I understand the explanation of why 2 boards may not work as well, so thanks for that. One thing I hadn't considered with the summing.

Wouldn't two e12s work for balanced; 1 for the + signals and 1 for the - signals? On amb's site, he only states that 1 e12 per PSU should be used, which I'm not quite sure I understand the rationale for. I never cared for the virtual ground on the e12 board, but understand the need for it given some of the amps that this is intended for. I agree that your protector board would be better and more economical.

Yes, I really enjoyed this as well. LeMond was a monster before he got shot. I've watched a bit of this years tour, but didn't see yesterday's stage and crash.

Used to be National, but they are owned by TI now (probably still fine). Philips (On Semi) are good as well. Never tried JRC. Anything buy ST Micro. Thing should regulate regardless of load. Their positive ones do Ooops, On Semi was Motorola, not Philips. Philips is NXP, which probably are also good.- 419 replies

^ This! Congrats USWNT, and to Japan, who even though getting crushed, never showed quit and remained classy in their play.

Seems pretty clear on my read of it Kevin. Styles A and D (ALC10Axxxxxx) are 2-pin. Termination G (of the 2 std. terminations) is 5-pin, but is only used for diameters greater than 45mm. From what I could see Mouser only carries the A termination type. KEM_A4020_ALC10-535355.pdf- 419 replies

Got released from the hospital. On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, around 4:00 in the morning I was waking up with an odd feeling. A bit of chest tightness, arm tightness, etc. All pretty minor but just uncomfortable. Sit up for an hour or so and go back to bed. On Wednesday around 2:00 I went outside to do some work, and just wasn't feeling right. Called my doctor and after talking to one of his nurse's, had my wife take me to the ER. After angioplasty, 100% blockage in the RCA, one stent. Fun fun, but I guess still being here counts for something. Got out a day earlier than normal because I was doing so well.

I just bought a used pair of Wellgo B-67s; still haven't tried them yet. The Ergons seem expensive for what is basically just a flat pedal. Some reviews I read claim traction, while good, isn't as good as pins, etc. Of course these probably wouldn't fuck up your shins in a mishap like pinned pedals might. The Shimano dual purpose pedals like Grawk has might be a better choice, as you could go clipless if you wanted to.

Congrats to the Hawks for winning, and to Tampa for a great playoff run and fight in the finals!

R2 in schematic?

I believe the 20 ohm resistors are paired to get a 10 ohm resistance.

How big are these things? I only ask because I did a half sigma22 layout (only 1 pair of output FETs) and used it in a CD player to power the I/V stage. Board on the right. I didn't bother heatsinking the output FETs on this because of the low current draw.

Yes, thanks for resurrecting this thread Dusty! Thanks to all who have served and sacrificed!

I don't know if they ever asked if they could use it or not. Maybe Jude felt that since the real CanJams were head-fi supported events, that he automatically owned the name... still funny that the last one (CanJam Chicago 2010) was run entirely by HeadCasers
