  1. So, my tool wouldn't do this, so I had to create a ground pour and attach it to each pin in the bottom, then subtract the solder mask via a pin swell parameter. I used the minimum annular ring on the part itself. I am getting the Gerbers ready to quote, so we will see.
  2. Where's that? Here in Atlanta we have around 10-15 Dim Sum house. No buffet obviously. Price? JW Marriott, Bangkok TH. 670 baht.
  3. All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum
  4. marginally related, but... Does anyone know if a PCB fab will honor asymmetric ring sizes, as long as the annular ring specifications are met? So, basically I want the minimum ring size for the hole on the top of the PCB, but a significantly larger ring on the bottom? I don't see why not, I could accomplish the same thing with a ground pour and the subtracting from the solder mask...
  5. If the HD800S is great (ordered one), I may sell my HD800, interested? If they are significantly different, I may keep both. I love the hD800. Sure! I would love to give it another spin.
  6. Does anyone know someone that might be willing to "balance" a set of J-cable A-T headphones? Either keep it a J and use a TRRS cable (need the verify it isn't this way already), or convert it to a Y. Just looking to farm out the work
  7. Just found one on EBay. No idea what these go for on the used market, just threw a bid on and won!

Is that their steambox hardware, essentially? Yes So it can be Steam Box ified? I can't seem to tell when the deal will end, is it just me?
  10. Well, I basically have two of the same watch (to the uninitiated). In reality one is an automatic and one is a HEQ, one is black dialed and one is white, one is no-date with gorgeous symmetry and the other has a date function. To most that would seem odd.

  12. You can put a nylon screw and three nuts through the tabs on the diodes to give them more structure.
  13. I don't expect anyone to understand

There are two Esoteric Ring sets on YPJ! That started at low bids. Curious to see what he free market values these at.
  16. They will likely work just fine.
  17. Yeah, good news is that they are cheaper I was looking at Octopart last night and noticed that their descriptions of the parts hinted that they are different. I haven't dug into the datasets yet.
  18. Kerry, have you compared the Supertex and Microchip versions of the DN2540?
  19. I managed to trick my Kindle to get the HarperCollins version from Amazon UK.
  20. Any chance it was the Kindle version? Is it as badly typeset as the reviewers say?

  22. Don't forget to blame the new PCB layout as being a potential problem as well. Who knows, maybe all types of resistors worked in the original layout.
  23. meh, FedEx / US Customs delays
  24. Perhaps a flawed implementation of an excellent circuit.
