  1. Looks like lowest is $4.57/ea and that is from CA so I should avoid sales tax (in theory). I will take 50. Preference given for larger pieces of the remaining 100 Please PM me, I am hoping this is simple enough to avoid complicated spreadsheet logistics
  2. Bah, I got my quotes mixed up. I think since there is a wide variety of people interested, and my experience with the C grade being super high Idss, I will offer the B grade, which is stated to be 6-12mA Idss. I will stop the group buy at 100 pieces, they are quoting me $5.25/ea (in my defense I had another part quoted from them right next to this line item and I got confused). I will likely pay for the order and receive the parts before accepting any money, mostly due to my EOY schedule and limited time before hop on a series of planes. Worst case I will distribute these in late Jan. I asked algar_emi who recently did a GB on these to see what kind of pricing he can get so we can compare. I believe I can get a quote direct from Linear Systems as well.
  3. I don't know what to say to that. Do you also build your own ice rinks?
  4. JimL: I am working on a project that you might be able to teach me a good deal on. If I sent you a "dumb question" or two and a large LTSpice schematic and some beer money, could you see if you could enlighten me a bit on why I have DC offset the world's most complex active crossover circuit?
  5. Let's see what they say. That pricing was based on a purchase from many years ago, perhaps they have increased. The C grade seem to be like super V grade of the original Toshibas, Doug. Have you noticed that as well?
  6. Is there any interest in a small LSK389 SOIC-8 group buy? By myself I need 40 so hitting the 100 MOQ is probably feasible with just a few participants. I think they will run in the $2.50/ea (fingers crossed), I have a RFQ out to Trendsetter in ATX.
  7. How did you end up finishing the ribs?
  8. I suppose there are worse things a Young C could be?
  9. Carbon Circlotron? or more likely Credit Card required?
  10. Capacitor Coupled, obviously
  11. That's like the HF review of mattresses there!
  12. AoE is pretty dense - you really need to do the problems to make sure you are grasping the concepts.

I have an extra Madam Butterfly ENO guide - just PM me your address and it's yours.
  15. Yeah, I think they are a reasonable piece of kit. Give it a go!
  16. I use Fischer as well, they did my T2 profiles.
  17. Sunk costs should not affect the rational decision-maker's best choice. However, until a decision-maker irreversibly commits resources, the prospective cost is an avoidable future cost and is properly included in any decision-making processes.
  18. The irony is there is an upgrade for the K-01 that you aren't opting for, most importantly which addresses the horrible output stage implementation that Esoteric is known for.
  19. I assumed it was a simple box using the Golden Mean, hence the appeal.
  20. I hope the company will be around long enough or care enough to provide upgrades.
  21. Purchased. Thanks!
  22. Oh, didn't realize that case was integrated into the amp, I thought it was just resting there.
