Into the Badlands -- martial arts of the completely unrealistic school, lots of wirework, swordplay, post-post-apocalyptic society, barren and windswept wastelands, a 5 ring Chinese broadsword, Nick Frost, plenty of hot chicks and gruesome violent deaths, what more could a boy want?
I love Haujobb in particular because they evolved their sound all along. Skinny Puppy (of course) and Project Pitchfork are a couple others. :wumpscut:’s Loyal to my Hate was my ringtone for the longest time.
Hot and Sour soup, still not much of an appetite. Had some Moo Goo Gai Pan for breakfast (basically: chicken soup made as not soup), and that was it for the day.

Shoegaze (Lush-ish) -- unless you're still interested in the genre, stay away. They even have those slow guitar chord bends.
I'm a maybe, probably not. I've been congested since Thursday or Friday, can't hear worth shit. It's weird -- music over my speakers is muffled and unpleasantly clangorous at the same time, and headphones are completely uncomfortable, since I'm constantly "popping" my ears.
Started cleaning out my apartment. Signed a 6-month lease renewal, at the end of which, I need to be downsized and moved out. That was a compromise between renewing the lease for a full year, and going month-to-month at a much higher rate.
But they were adapting -- didn't they have a DAC/preamp at one point, oriented towards people like me who played everything either streamed or cached? Oh, yeah, the aforementioned HA-1.
And what about that whole Lexicon debacle? Isn't that the ultimate sign that they had achieved their best-in-class mark, possibly even best-in-all-classes?
Also, did they ever get the whole 105-as-USB-DAC thing working more smoothly? I could never get it to work for me.
