I believe Duggeh had a pair in nearfield (I.E. right on the other side of the desk) for a while. He seemed quite happy with the setup.

iZombie -- this show is so good! On top of being a fairly light procedural, they just set up a worst case scenario, where a zombie apocalypse is teetering on the edge of going -- as they so poetically put it -- "full Romero". I love shows with layers.

Lollers. Good thing I wasn't drinking, otherwise I would have gotten wine in my nose. And that shit stings.

I don't understand the association, although I did just find out about "420 day" today -- what's that all about, anyone care to explain? Obvs I don't partake, neither, otherwise I'd probably be in the know. On a related note, you know how I complained about my bathroom smelling like cigarette smoke from one of the other apartments? Today it smells like skunk. Lollers.

They put some tickets on sale just last week for me, would've been $30 for the anti-social seats, I paid $50 for my choral vantage.

My vantage tonight, seeing Hilary Hahn. I could have taken the 'leper colony' seats, again, but decided to chance it. It was fine. The young lady next to me didn't take her shit out of my seat when I got there, but there was no-one on the other side of me, and it was kind of a bench, so I sat between two seats, sort of. It was fine at first, but I was sitting right on the seam, so it got kinda old. At the intermission I was going to ask her to keep her shit, but they never returned, so no problems on either side of me for the rest of the show. She played a solo violin piece that one of her patrons had commissioned for her that was just fantastic. Show opened with the first part of that, then it was her and the pianist Cory Smyth playing Mozart, then she played the second part of the new piece, intermission, third part, then the pianist returned for a Sonata by Copland. This was a much more Hilary-centric concert than the last one, so I was happy.

That doesn't make it okay, and it doesn't mean you should just give up on trying to protect your IP.- What are you EATING right now?
Cool, thanks for sharing! Will try that one. It's also really hard to compare "fresh" with "packaged" -- that probably has as much to do with it tasting better. That said, I have found a particularly delicious plain yogurt that is head and shoulders above any other yogurt I've tasted (I do not make my own -- that's probably food-poisoning waiting to happen), and I use it exclusively: Harris Teeter Organics organic lowfat yogurt (I use lowfat, you may want to check out the regular yogurt). I also may have grabbed the vanilla by accident once, it was surprisiingly smooth, without an overwhelming vanilla flavor. You know, just in case you run out of home-made.- The Headcase Stax thread
SR-003 Mk II- What are you EATING right now?
Hmmm...tandoori yogurt chicken sounds good...(wanders off to look up a recipe online) Me, been working on a vaguely chili-an recipe (very little pepper) for the last 4 hours, finally just gave up and ate what I had. Was good, but seemed to have that hollowness between the base texture and the spicy top that goes with a lot of hot but "no salt added" foods. Oh well, just kept adding shit until it tasted better, ended up being pretty good, but I don't think I appreciate it right now, I probably should have ate before I started cooking so that I wasn't hangry by the time I et.- Record Store Day - April 16, 2016

I need a picture of the sausage penetrating the pretzel. If you're already done eating, my apologies, but NEXT TIME....- What are you listening to Part the Third
The movie was inevitable. He always did have great soundtracks (cf. Lost Highway).- The analog thread.
So, literally, yes, album of the month == flavour of the month.- What are you listening to Part the Third
Lots of PFM -- even the most recent one, A.D. 2010 - La Buona Novella, is superb. Italian prog is Italian. Muy bueno.- The analog thread.
