If you're still running a hard drive, SSD's run much cooler. That said, I use this X-shaped one on my Sony Vaio at home: I forget why, probably just because it looked cool and didn't do any worse than any of the others I could find based on a quick survey of amazon ratings while standing in a MicroCenter. The little nubs bother me, though -- I would have thought that you'd want full contact, rather than spacers.

Fuck you both. Funny thing about San Francisco -- it's on the same Latitude as DC. The difference is, DC is a drained swamp, San Francisco is a bay. Go to the other side of the mountains, and it's a desert (only one es this time), but the Pacific ocean keeps it temperate. For some reason, the Atlantic sucks at keeping even Annapolis similarly temperate. Fuck you, Atlantic Ocean. Fuck you, you useless body of water you.

Oh, and I left one out -- I fully expected it to be too hot for my very clingy kitty to cuddle -- you know, because of his fur coat? -- nuh-uh, we just spent a good 15 minutes with him laying on my chest. I had to evict him, he didn't evict himself. (Best discovery ever? Carnot cycle.)

Haven't seen either of those. I'm thinking she's just really memorable in everything she does, because the show absolutely fetishizes on her face, and it's extremely unique and expressive...and familiar. And she was cast so perfectly for the role -- she's got that Roxy Music album cover looks to her. The scene at the end of episode 3 ("this is how it would work" in answer to the question, "how could it ever work") -- yeah, exactly.

Looks great, except for that one pic of a dirty plate. Really? You went ahead and posted that? Aye keed, aye keed...looks like a real foody place with a real eye towards presentation. My only complaint would have been the pizza -- everything else looked great. And yes, double wowzers on the desert.
