I agree with you. Eating organic and riding a bike are great for how you feel about yourself, but the impact they make is miniscule. They help assuage the guilt some people feel for living a comfortable life in a world that's filled with suffering.
I don't think that buying organic is more likely to cause malaria to increase worldwide, of course. That would be hyperbole on a par with the idea that driving a prius is going to change the climate.
What kind of router are you trying to connect to, and what else is using it? I haven't ever really had problems with my macs connecting to wireless networks.
Cheered Thomas on as he did a ropes course with his team. In stark contrast to last time, he enjoyed the high events, finished everything he had time to, and his team actually completed all the low challenges.
extra ram and a larger hard drive are both cheap and simple to install. Don't pay apple's upgrade charges. Get a refurb minimal config macbook, then upgrade it yourself with commodity parts.
But the dell mini9 doesn't have a comparable mac, and can't run snow leopard easily.
There isn't a compelling reason (to my mind) to get a thinkpad instead of a macbook to run osx.
I don't think it's climate that's hurting the belgians, I think it's popularity. As they increase production, the quality drops. A lot of formerly Trappist beers are now corporate, too.
