  1. This. And good luck, Chris.
  2. What a pain in the ass, sorry Jeff. Damnit Brent!

I'm w I'm with Dan. Maybe he needs less, not more?
  4. Looking good, Jeff.
  5. This thread is hereby stickied.
  6. Fingers and toes, Jacob.
  7. I fear the local C&C will be pretty pedestrian but beggars can't be choosers. I might try to fins one closer to Boston too.
  8. If you can stretch the budget a bit this looks pretty decent. http://computers.woot.com/offers/hp-omen-15-6-intel-i7-gtx-860m-laptop-11?utm_source=Daily+Digest&utm_campaign=1f3105bd92-Daily+Digest+-+20150720+-+Shirt.Woot&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_c5ca76da11-1f3105bd92-281438606#tracked
  9. But the paint image is appreciated.
  10. Color me unimpressed.
  11. What I'm talking about is that photos appear to have a wider field of view. See below for two screen captures of what I'm seeing. Photo Video Video mode appears to "zoom in" and give me less field of view.
  12. Can someone tell me why the field of view when shooting video on the iPhone is so radically different than when shooting photos? I did some googling and came up empty.
  13. Oh I know that $$ will solve the problem but it shouldn't need to be spent at this point. And no worries Jacob. If I'm going to bother to pull it all apart I'm putting new parts in there.
  14. Eh, not that tweaked about it really. What is frustrating is that both the front and rear rotors are thrashed on the car (rush damage) after only 30k. I suspect it is due to the PO not driving much and letting the car sit - it was 2+ years old when I bought it and only had 13k on it. So now I'm researching brakes and trying to decide if I'm going to upgrade at all or leave well enough alone.
  15. And I'm with you on this!
  16. My 2¢ - it's a good show, not a great one. I enjoyed it quite a bit for the first few years but Meghan Markle and Sarah Rafferty, despite their considerable charms, were not able to sustain my interest.
  17. Great pics as usual Jeff. I was hoping to go to the local C&C with Andrew but family plans came up so we're going to try again sometime soon.
  18. All washed and shiny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'm over halfway through the 10hrs already and have a work trip (driving) this week that'll probably allow me to get through the rest comfortably so I should be ok.
  20. I'm boycotting anything related to the movie until I finish the (audio)book.
  21. Those are actually cinnamon chip scones. Chocolate chip versions get made occasionally but both Maura and I are cinnamon fiends so these are the standard fare when scones are made. Both go well with bacon (but what doesn't?!??!).

Google says it's someone that acts as a parent but isn't. In this case my bet is that it's something akin to a godparent.
  23. Based on advice from a friend I started The Martian the other day. I'm actually listening, rather than reading, and I think this might be the perfect way to experience this book. There's so much tone and inflection required (the primary narrator/character is a sarcastic sonofabitch) and it is frequently laugh out loud funny. I'm about 30% in and very interested to see where they take it. It's being released in film form later this year I think and I can't imagine how they managed the transition.
  24. I started Sense8 last night. Interesting first episode. Friends have built this up to be quite the show so I'm hopeful that I haven't gotten my expectations up too high.
