Any additional info on the soft start circuit and how it gets implemented?

I took Kristopher out for a beer after work last night, completely spaced on taking a picture (d'oh) but after a late donation and a small addition on my part we ended up with a total donation of $2500. Kristopher was understandably shocked by the total and at a lack for words. The smile on his face was priceless and said all that needed saying in my book. So in the end I just want to say thank you to every one that donated and another special thanks to Twisted Pear for generously donating the parts that started all of this. I can't imagine it going any better than it did.

This just in from Random.org: That makes bhjazz the winner! I'll be coordinating things with him moving forward but I do just want to say thank you again to everyone who donated. We ended up with 218 tickets and a few donations outside the raffle process which adds up to a grand total of $2.434.44. I'll add some to that to make it a nice round number but that is just an incredible sum in my book.

I have 3, but I also have a 1, 3 and two 6's. My 1st pick of MJD looks might bad right now...

It's with a free little app (for both i-stuff and android devices) called Run Keeper. I just did a screen cap of the output you can view on the web, which like you I find pretty cool.

The raffle is now closed. I ended up selling 207 tickets, 90% of which have been paid in full so along with a few non-raffle donations it means that we raised north of $2000 for the family. I'm simply at a lack for words to say thanks enough.

Feet - Case Stands & Feet : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come - at least that gives you a starting point. Feet and knobs are two of the more difficult things to source, honestly. Manuel has you steered right for the loctite.

I caught it last night, good beginning to the season me thinks.

Yup, when my dad and I were building Lily's clubhouse this summer we used the impact driver a lot. It went to town on the 1/4" x 3-1/2" timberlock screws that fastened some of the major framing members together. Those would have be brutal/impossible with a normal drill.

Given the success so far (which is to say, incredible) I'm going to close the raffle on Saturday September 25th. I would appreciate it if all payments could be made before that but I understand that these things can take a little time. I'm going to do the drawing on Sunday September 26th around 9pm EST. I'll post the results shortly thereafter and notify the winner/colin via PM.

My poor now ten plus year old Makita cordless drill has all but given up the ghost. It served me incredibly well and was the original instrument of round hole cutting and remained in regular use up to this past weekend. Neither of its batteries will hold a charge anymore and with replacements running ~$75 each it was unfortunately more economically sound to replace the whole works.

Thanks for passing this along, life is too fracken short.
