LOL Does the camera connection kit for the iPad allow connecting other USB devices like external HDD? Just one at a time?

How do you connect the Pico DAC/Amp to the iPad? The headphone out has also Toslink digital out? The dock allows it to control USB devices such as a DAC or external drives?
