  3. Started the morning session with this: Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles 2008 but despite being the second listening since I got it, I can't enjoy this music So started this one: Mike Oldfield - Crises
  4. Sorry for your bad day Viki. Tomorrow it's Friday and will be nicer for sure
  5. Both leak about the same, but haven't compared matching volume and using a SPL meter.
  6. ^ Kind of fun recording The Michael Schenker Group - The Michael Schenker Story Live
  7. x2 The CD3000 are sibilant depending on the source and amp you use. Overall I find them less sibilant and more correct than D5000 (I can't stand the DT). I loved the CD3000 with a tube amp prototype I tried here, really wonderful, gorgeous midrange and a lot of weight in the bass. With the Gilmore Reference they sound more than acceptable for me. Hadn't I phones that I like better like the O2, R10 or PS1 I could live with them quite happily.
  8. Pantha du Prince - Black Noise
  9. Fever Ray - Fever Ray
  10. I want Thunderpants too
  11. Yep, sounds nice. Thanks for the feedback
  12. I'm having a hard rock day today (probably the first one in my whole life). Been listening to these: AC/DC - If you want blood you've got it Black Sabbath - Paranoid Iron Maiden - Maiden Japan Metallica - Kill 'Em' All Rainbow - Long Live Rock 'n' Roll And finally currently listening to: Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
  13. Apart from the L3000, which I like quite a lot, but their bass sometimes is excessive, the CD3000 would be a good choice IMHO. I didn't like the W5000 nor the W10 and haven't tried other closed AT. The D5000 ain't bad, but even modding them (which works to tame the flabby bass of the stock model) still have annoying treble on most recordings, only very good ones sound decent. Overall I find the CD3000 more enjoyable and "righter". Have you tried the JVC DX1000? Not that I'm advising them, but despite their flaws, they're quite fun depending on the recordings.
  14. Listened to this too, what a coincidence! Now listening to Renaissance - Ashes are Burning
  15. Renaissance - Prologue
  16. Renaissance - Renaissance
  17. Damn, this is getting ugly. Mother Earth is complaining
  18. Stay safe Birgir.
  19. Vivaldi - Concerti per fiauto traversiere (Academia Montis Regalis)
  20. Cool, that's excellent news
  21. Glad you're liking that album. Definitely one of my fav ones
  22. If possible it's what I'd try, but there are circumstances that I'd need to run both systems. Anyway, it's what it is, maybe the new faster processor allows that without much performance loss.
  23. I don't need much graphic power, but rather a more powerful processor and more RAM to run parallels so I can use Windows if needed, which I'm afraid I'll need However your point makes a lot of sense and probably explains why Apple didn't use the i5 on the 13" MBP.
  24. Damn, I was expecting an i5 based 13" MBP Had I known the 13" was getting only a faster processor, I'd have purchased it a couple of months ago.
