Ding Ding Ding!

Ooh, ^that will be next! Seeing Roy Haynes next weekend and cannot wait!
-
I'd certainly consider such a plan, Grahame, although I have not looked up the drive time from Orlando. The connections would probably take longer than direct flight + drive. Let's chat.

Great selections, Antonio and Chris (who has fallen off the jazz bandwagon lately ). I am listening to Grant Green, Idle Moments at the moment, but Phineas will be next.

Picked up the Pete Millett Unnecessarily Complex 300B Amplifier before coming in to the office today. The seller had it set up in his system with Phy HP full-range drivers in some pretty serious cabinets. It sounded fantastic and I am not even sure what he was using for the preamp because he had so much gear it was hard to differentiate. He very kindly switched it out from 16 ohm to 8 ohm while I waited and we played it again to see that it was working. The change tipped the sound up a bit on his 16 ohm drivers but it still sounded very nice. I'm excited to hear this with the Cicadas and K1000s especially, but I think it could really improve the Heresys as well.

Good music listeners in here. I have been bouncing around all day with the BHse and Lambda Sigs, O2s, and Omegas. Right now, it is: Keith Jarrett -- Paris/London Testament (24/96 HD Tracks)

That sounds cool. Post pics of the results.

This is what you call being quiet?!

My dad and I are also right here, taken by the roving camera folk so we would buy prints. This time I think I will. http://www.printroom.com/ViewGalleryPhoto.asp?evgroupid=0&userid=sfgiantsfanphotos&gallery_id=2315500&image_id=73&pos=38

Crappy and Nebby, I don't think you need permission to come to this meet if you are HC members. It will be good to see you again, Ben, after all these years. I'm pretty sure you came to HeadFest 2007 from Japan, is that right?

http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/ps/y2010/gigapan/index.jsp?gpId=c30ba58462b63fc690880b7f513d9fb4 I don't know where Mike is, but at Game 2 I am on the 3rd base side under the overhang in the first level. We are sitting almost directly under the cameraman hanging off the first deck to the left of the Coors Light sign. It is also where the first row of bunting ends. My dad is on an aisle in a white Giants hoodie and I am to the left of him (his right). Very cool pic.

Good luck with that Chris. It looks like it had a nice little campfire going already.

Woo Hoo indeed!

Hey Ricey! Glad to see you posting today, and hope you're doing well. Cheers!

I hope he did tell them wait until the pitcher threw a strike during the Walkathon. Posey got a single with 2 outs and then Holland threw 11 straight balls, got a pity called strike, then threw another ball to walk in a run. The next new pitcher came in and walked Uribe to force in another run. It was demoralizing to the Rangers and this is war! Also, there was another single, a double and a triple after that in the same 7-run inning. It was glorious for us because the Giants win an inordinate amount of games by 1 run. Cushion felt good for a change. EDIT: I forgot the best part. Some guy had a sign outside the park after the game with Chuck Norris and the words "Walk 'Em Texas Rangers." Pretty fast work. I was kicking myself for not bringing a real camera of some sort. Too much going on, and I was lucky that the trial day was short and on some level amazed that could swing it. I ran into an attorney from my old firm in the beer line before the game and he was aghast when I told him I had just started a trial the same day and was at the ball game. I didn't tell him that there was no court today because it was more fun to let him think I am more crazy than I am. Have fun in D.C., Biscuit Brent!

Jim, what are the bottles 1st and 3rd from the left? Looks like fun times for sure. I bought a World Series t-shirt for my secretary, a WS black and white baseball for my mom, and an official WS baseball that was "on the field" (prpbably in a large pallet of similar balls).

I knew you could do it! Sorry about that Wayne.

Quorum has been achieved and I say we should stop the equivocating shenanigans (at one time caused by my issues). This meet should be set in stone for December 9-13, 2010. Come early, stay late, as Gene said. Let's do this! Oh, and Shelly, Steve, Scott, Nate, Ryan, Doug, Jim and any other nay-sayers or maybes had better figure out how to get themselves there or else expect dark-clad individuals with burlap sacks to drop in to assist. And that goes double for Stretch (because he's so tall)!

I think you'll like that Ransom Mike. Good stuff.
