Sad to hear. My uncle owned an early Shelby Cobra convertible (don't remember specifics). Along with a later Road Runner, the coolest cars anyone in my family would ever own (sorry dad, the Cordoba didn't make the cut).

The man who was responsible for both my car obsession and my chili obsession. The Omni GLH-S is the coolest car ever made. That said, I want a classic cobra 427 side oiler replica (with real brakes and suspension).

Ol' Carroll knew how to design and build them. Godspeed sir!
