I have findings similar, but the stars are either subscribed or posted-in threads, and if it's something you haven't participated in, it's just a circle. There is an option to do only things that you participate in, or things you follow (forget which), but when I set it to that it won't return any results.

Here was me just thinking I was being IT-challenged!  But yes - count me in for the return of the new content button please.  And thanks Todd for the hard work in keeping the site updated and fresh.

For threads in the "unread content" queue you can also click on the time of the last reply to navigate to the end of the thread. Would be embarrassed to say how long it took me to figure that out. Kept clicking on the little "post" bubbles on left of the queue thinking : "Surely that'll work? Maybe my browser's broken? It's the only thing that makes any sense!"

Oddly enough, when posting a reply in Chrome, if you click the emoticon icon, it brings up Code and if you click the link icon it comes up Emoticon.

Bug report: I haven't been getting emails for PM notification in the last couple of days. Double-checked my settings, and the email flag is turned on. Checked my spam label on Gmail, and it's empty. Did anything change in email infrastructure?

I'm not getting any email notifications.

New today,..

When I click on the "Browse" button, I have to log in again.

No email notifications here, either.

If I don't log into head-case it gives me:

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX2

Email and Browse button issues seem resolved.

Thanks Todd!

I was going to post this, but yep, if you're not signed in you can't see anything.

Thanks for reporting that, looks like they broke something in the small upgrade yesterday.  I've been able to disable the guest page caching that was causing it for the time being.

All of a sudden I started getting emails to subscribed threads when I've had that turned off for all my subscribed threads.  I only wanted to find new posts in my subscribed threads online. It started filling up my mailbox with dozens of posts.  Went to turn it off but as global settings go I could only change it to a daily or weekly digest. So I did that and also told it to not send more than one notification until I visit the forum again.

I kept losing my sign-in tonight when I switch between forums. Has anyone experienced the same glitch?

I did not have this problem ealier today. I am using Safari browser on an iPad.

it comes and goes ... I often loose it when changing into the DIY section ...a refresh however solves the problem in my case

I'm having the same problem while using my iPad.  No problems with my PC.
