June 27, 200719 yr Thanks for all the birthday wishes. This was not a good day. I had to put Rex down. He was septic with a 105 fever, dehydrated and had a huge pressure sore that was covered up by his fur. The vet didnt think he would even respond to IV antibiotics and he was definitely suffering so we went ahead and put him down. We had Rex for almost 19 years. I am going to miss that dog. :'( I think I will celebrate tomorrow.

It's hard to lose a friend like that.
