I bought a pair of shure se530's from gtp and love them. They are by far my favorite IEM and I've owned most of the shure line. They actually remind me of my allesandro ms2i's but with out the punchy bass and clear mids.

That's interesting. Perhaps my amp wasn't up for driving the 650's but I find the se530 to be faster than the 650.

I think that you have a better rig than I. My senns sounded rather bass heavy and a little boomy. I've only been listening to the se530's for a few hours so my opinion about them may change in a few weeks.

I want an E500. I hate the breakaway cable shit on the 530.

I agree. I am always snagging my cables in the sculpture studio on all kinds of shit. I also do a lot of woodworking and will, I'm sure some day saw through the cable.
