March 10, 201610 yr The only time I've seen anyone wear a real one was a picture of Steven Tyler wearing one. There's a replica that made the rounds on a replica forum I used to participate on tho, people were hillarious in it.
March 10, 201610 yr Engraved rehut even... its the current crappy version of the Daytona with their in-house movement.

March 12, 201610 yr I thought it was supposed to be a frank and beans, meatballs and man sausage, twig and berries...
March 14, 201610 yr They have some nice looking watches. Do they do their own manufacturing cases/movements?
March 14, 201610 yr Cool. Nice Snoopy btw. I am sensing someone likes Omega a bit, that's what, about a dozen now?

March 15, 201610 yr Glad you are excited Larry and happy birthday. For *me* that is a shit at load of watches.

One less watch today - I sold my Aqua Terra 2503.33 to a deserving buyer, after it came back from Omega for a movement service, and made money on the sale. I had the Snoopy mostly paid for, and the sale went a long way to finishing it off. Gave up one white dial watch for another.
March 16, 201610 yr Haven't bought a watch in years now. Which is odd considering I still religiously spend at least a half hour a day checking the grey dealers, forums and Chrono 24 to keep up with what's out there. Might just sell the lot to create some impetus and start from scratch again under the pretense of building a "rational collection."

I just have nothing I am all that interested in purchasing. I haven't even been into the safe in half a year and have been switching out the same two beater watches everyday.
March 16, 201610 yr I have an old Nautilus. It is okay but I am not a huge fan of the looks and would not even think of paying that much for one.

March 16, 201610 yr I was all set on buying the Seiko 55th Anniversary Spring Drive but then I learned that that it was no lume and my interest waned. We'll see if I can find something that interests me. I sort of like the Tag tourbillon but I'm not sure I want to spend that much.
March 16, 201610 yr Watchvaultnyc has a couple of 145.022 69-ST watches for sale, if you want a pre-moon Speedmaster.
March 17, 201610 yr My next watch shipped today after being on a 6 week back order. Then I have another watch that should ship on Friday, that I pre-ordered back in October last year. So they don't count when I say I won't buy more for a little bit, since they were already on order
March 17, 201610 yr 4 minutes ago, EdipisReks said: one of those the Nomos? Yes, the NOMOS will ship by the end of the week, so I am told. I sold the Aqua Terra (white dial blue hands) to make room for the next two watches, and you'll see why.
March 17, 201610 yr Jacob, can you provide a few more close up shots of the Everest strap for that Explorer?
March 18, 201610 yr INCOMING! Next one is here tomorrow (NOMOS Ltd Ed). And then my last watch purchase (of the 1st quarter) will be here on Tuesday...
