September 28, 201114 yr Claire made spaghetti squash, sausages and salad for a sibilant but very tasty dinner.
October 4, 201114 yr That looks pretty good. What is on top of the asparagus (besides the walnuts) though? Oh, I guess they are some sort of mushrooms. Edited October 4, 201114 yr by shellylh
October 4, 201114 yr it's a balsamic reduction with caramelized onions and mushrooms. That sounds good.
October 4, 201114 yr Send any good lamb recipes my way. Every week I see some lamb chops in the store and am tempted to buy them but resist because I don't really know how to cook them. My guess is that it is easy once you know how.
October 4, 201114 yr Sounds easy enough. Any oil? Like sunflower oil or something that can take a high heat?
October 4, 201114 yr Don't forget the garlic, basil and Oregon Pinot. Or go brandy raison carmelized onion reduction and.............Zinfandel or Cabernet Franc.
October 10, 201114 yr Shrimp Dijon Probably the wrong pairing with a porter, but it's what I felt like.
October 11, 201114 yr *Grilled Ribeye* plus other stuff and red wine. Do I need to mention that it was excellent?
October 11, 201114 yr Looks like a yummy snack there. Yes, nice snack! The meal was the Porter I drank with it!
October 12, 201114 yr Had cheeseborgers at the Billy Goat in Chicago. And may I just say, what a shithole.
October 16, 201114 yr ^Hmmm, weird combo but I guess it could be good. Has some Nebraska steak at a local restaurant tonight. Was ok but not nearly as good as my own Texas steak on the grill. Now: Habanero BBQ Almonds. Now these are good.
October 29, 201114 yr That looks good. I just got back from having an awesome "rack of pork," butternut squash filled crepes, and malbec. It was really awesome.
