Late Brunch at Buck's Yesterday. No VC's in attendance, just Joanne and I.

Joanne Had

Grilled Pescadero artichoke split asunder

stuffed full of big shrimp on one side

and fresh Dungeness crab on the other one

served with lemon mayo and cocktail sauce

garlic toast, spinach, tomatoes and cucumbers

In the absence of bacon, and to prepare for an upcoming NYC trip I had 7 oz NY strip with lettuce, tomato & onion strings on sourdough toast

Great minds think alike (pirate) Mike! We also had a meatless Monday, cooking quinoa for the first time: quinoa and black beans sauteed with garlic, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions, lime zest, lime juice with a bit of fresh cilantro on top; swiss chard and arugula/spinach salad on the side.

No pics as it is already happily in the tummies.

This was our first quinoa experience as well. It was good but the mushrooms grilled like steak were the highlight.
