  • I'm watching the news that three asshats have been found guilty of murdering an unarmed jogger in Georgia. Thank you to the jurors for being human.

My sainted mother is visiting from Marthas Vineyard, so I've been showing her a few old films.  Last night we watched The Black Cat (1934), which stars Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff.  Both men were at

just watched the newest Mad Men. i see myself buying this when it's finished, on blu ray, and watching it again. i love it. Pete is my favorite character.

I hope they keep it up throughout the whole season

Entourage. Not liking this season. Just seems kinda bleh.

Mad Men, season 1, episode 1. I found it quite boring. Does it get any better?

It does, but I actually found the first few eps much better than the later ones(seeing how they deal a bit more with the advertising stuff)

Last night to Chichester to watch two one-act comedies. Stoppard's "The Real Inspector Hound" and Sheridan's "The Critic". Both were plays within plays, with a bunch of first rate and well known actors who were in things like Notting Hill, Fierce Creatures, A Bridge too Far etc. Studio theatre with around 200 in the audience. The cast member you might recognise by name is Una Stubbs who was the slightly dotty landlady in Sherlock (and also back in the 60's and 70's in Till Death do us Part).

A fine afternoon (we went to the matinee), in tears with laughter.

The Room. oh wow.

I sincerely hope you're watching it in a crowd participation setting.

it may very well best english language television show ever made. keep watching.

It fills me with a kind of longing for something that probably never existed. A real work of art, that show.

same. i miss the ad stuff on the show :(

Top Gear...best of season 15 parts 1 & 2...

almost current on Breaking Bad...craving a new show...tried Haven...blech...Modern Family was too predictable...they have a lotta uncomfortable situation humor, too...which is easy/poor...still, though...i did laff a lot so maybe i'll stick w/it...

Watched "Community" yet, emelius? You might enjoy. I did, and I also hated Haven, laughed at Modern Family and was frustrated by the predictability of it, and like every one ever enjoyed top gear.

yep, all over Community:)...& think the Paintball episode will go down in the annuls...much like the uh...well there's an episode of the series Spaced that is even better, but i wouldn't know what to call it:)...

You mean the one with the guy who voiced Dark Maul in the forest? That was an awesome episode.

...uncomfortable situation humor...
Thank you for putting a name to that. Not really familiar with that series, though've been meaning to watch it, but yeah, I don't really "get" USH.

sith bigotry rearing its ugly head:palm:...

Rubicon.

The quality of the writing and general presentation of the story is a breath of fresh air.

24 Season 6... finally getting around to it.

Yes the latest eps was also great, hope they don't add some silly twist that ruins it.

Last show I watched was The Big C, some of you might like this new 'dark-comedy'

Ditto. Not great by any means but it didn't totally suck...

Watched the first new episode of Weeds last night. Not bad, but still in the over the top mode so far afield from where the show started.
