  • Same as every gay bar I've ever entered.

  • We lost power for about 12 hours which is nothing, all things considered, and we've got the generator/transfer-switch so it was really only out for 4 hours because I didn't feel like setting it all up

  • Side benefit of all the late snow, the ability to snowshoe with the kids.  Got andrew out for a little walk in the woods this afternoon.

Well, yet another lovely snow storm here in NE. None of my day students stayed home, even though we're dismissing all students at noon. I'll see when I actually get to leave as I have to stay put until all of my day students are picked up. Yay.

Yup, all classes were canceled here. I wonder how bad it really is, since I have to drive home.

great, school gets canceled but I still have to a friggin TA meeting because I'm an "employee" of the school

 PWN3D

There's quite a bit of snow here in Manhattan. It's snowing pretty fucking hard. I'm look out the window on the 46th floor of the MetLife building in midtown east and it's not letting up. I think I'll take off a little early to try and get home at a decent time. Last week when it snowed just a little bit, it took me about 3x the time it usually does to get home. =T

Just went out to get firewood for the stove. Nearly broke my fricken neck on the ice. :kitty:

I estimate we have about 2" of accumulation here in w.Mass. It's actually quite pretty when one isn't risking life and limb. I might snap a few pictures later, if I can be arsed to dig out my camera.

Just went outside and there is no snow, but it made me think how much I want Ken at ALO to recable my OII with his cables for the HD600 ,the twisty flesh tone ones. thanks.

Admit it, you fell on the ice and hit your head.

Just got home from work now. I'm glad that I was able to leave early (i.e., all my students were picked up) since I didn't hit any traffic. Now I can just sit and relax.

you should treat yourself to a nice malt.

Planning on it, actually. The two XRCD's I ordered from elusivedisc also arrived today so I'm hoping to listen to them as well.

sounds like a good afternoon :)

it'd be better if there was some COD4 action ;)

That would require a PS3, and most of my disposable income is slated at this point for a modest speaker rig.

COD4 doesn't really go well with the sitting back, sipping some Scottish sunshine and listening to tunes, though.

That, too.
