March 5, 200917 yr Here's what looks like a fantastic Audiogon bargain on a SOTA Star, ET linear tracking arm, and a Dynavector Karat MC w/ Ruby cantilever all for $1750. Of course, buying tables is always an extra risk due to shipping. The SOTA alone is an amazing TT that should bring over $1K easy, and that ET arm ain't cheap. AudiogoN ForSale: Sota- Star/Cherry W/Eminent Technolgy I dove into vinyl with a SOTA Star (of what looks like a similar vintage to this unit), and it's turned me into the raving vinyl fanboy I am today
March 5, 200917 yr Author Yup, $99 is over $100 more than I'd pay for seinfeld.Aw, c'mon, you wouldn't pay two-fiddy?

I don't know if I'm a suspended TT type of person though, I could see myself tearing my hear out trying to dial it in

March 11, 200917 yr OK, so this is not in stock at the moment, but I've been watching the WD 2TB HD page at ZZF for some time now, and up until sometime very recently the price has held at $279, despite being OOS. Still OOS, but the price is now listed as $179. So there's potentially a nice sale to be had once the drive is back in stock.
March 16, 200917 yr Logitech Harmony 670 Universal Remote Control USB - eBay (item 220377047941 end time Mar-17-09 14:04:18 PDT) uhh maybe a deal?
March 16, 200917 yr Author Lenovo tablet for US$800Lenovo is clearing out inventory of the Thinkpad X61 Tablet PC to make way for the new X200 series. You can pick up a brand new X61 tablet for 799.00. Normally it retails for 2100 so it is quite the steal.
March 17, 200917 yr Author I can get a prior generation Mac Mini 2.0GHz for $549 -- is it worth it, or do I really want to get the new one? I've already decided (to wait and get the new one, or possibly even a Macbook Pro), just want to hear others' thoughts.
March 17, 200917 yr depends on your goals, I guess. With a duet and just doing audio, I'd go with the cheap one, it does great. If you want to do the video stuff, or other stuff with it, it's probably worth it to get the new one, or any of the new systems with the upgraded video chip, since the next version of macos will make heavy use of them.
