October 2, 200817 yr comment_165341 We now need a picture of tyll in a hawaii shirt, and a thong sitting on the bike... Then the people behind him really will have a crack in their windshield. Better yet, make that picture /\ /\ Tyll's new avitar. Report
October 2, 200817 yr comment_165345 Well it is OK, but where are the Amphions on the Headroom stands? (I figured they would stand up to the weather better than the Harbeths.) Report
October 2, 200817 yr comment_165379 So intensely cool I'm gonna be at RMA - Tyll, you've gotta let me see this at some point Report

The people behind me have a lot more to worry about than that! (Hey mods! I'm a bit of a n00b here wrt the rulz, do I need to change the to a link? Sorry, couldn't resist.) Come on up to our room, Luminette, I think we'll display the dash. Report

October 3, 200817 yr comment_165587 The only thing I'd add to this is that it's hardly discreet. One thing is discreetly wearing custom IEMs in your helmet, but it's another thing to brandish all sorts of outlandish gear that's bound to get questions should you get on the wrong side of John Q. Law. Personally, I wouldn't use a setup like this, but then again I do drive like a madman. In the event of porcine intervention, I like to look respectable Report
October 3, 200817 yr comment_165589 I'd imagine that most LEO's would look at that and have no idea what they were looking at and probably not even want to get into it. And all of it is certainly no worse in my book than the Hog riders who have standard FM radios and speakers on their bikes. Report
October 3, 200817 yr comment_165591 I'd say the big problem cops would have with the dash setup tyll has is that STi Report
October 3, 200817 yr comment_165622 I forgot to ask, will you have enough power to run it all? And what about getting a Widder electric heated vest and gloves, which would surely push you over the power limit. Good thing the iRiver and portable amp can run on battery - what about the Radar and GPS? Report
October 3, 200817 yr comment_165624 Tyll talks about the power needs either in his first post or in the link. Please don't use that freakish Yoda thing as your avatar. Please. Report
