October 2, 200817 yr We now need a picture of tyll in a hawaii shirt, and a thong sitting on the bike... Then the people behind him really will have a crack in their windshield. Better yet, make that picture /\ /\ Tyll's new avitar.
October 2, 200817 yr Well it is OK, but where are the Amphions on the Headroom stands? (I figured they would stand up to the weather better than the Harbeths.)
October 2, 200817 yr So intensely cool I'm gonna be at RMA - Tyll, you've gotta let me see this at some point
October 2, 200817 yr Author We now need a picture of tyll in a hawaii shirt, and a thong sitting on the bike... Then the people behind him really will have a crack in their windshield. The people behind me have a lot more to worry about than that! (Hey mods! I'm a bit of a n00b here wrt the rulz, do I need to change the to a link? Sorry, couldn't resist.) Come on up to our room, Luminette, I think we'll display the dash.
October 2, 200817 yr <snip> (Hey mods! I'm a bit of a n00b here wrt the rulz, do I need to change the to a link? Sorry, couldn't resist.) <snip> Tyll, the only rule here is "don't be an asshat". This kind of ass is OK.
October 3, 200817 yr The only thing I'd add to this is that it's hardly discreet. Law. Personally, I wouldn't use a setup like this, but then again I do drive like a madman. In the event of porcine intervention, I like to look respectable
October 3, 200817 yr I'd imagine that most LEO's would look at that and have no idea what they were looking at and probably not even want to get into it. And all of it is certainly no worse in my book than the Hog riders who have standard FM radios and speakers on their bikes.
October 3, 200817 yr I'd say the big problem cops would have with the dash setup tyll has is that STi
October 3, 200817 yr I forgot to ask, will you have enough power to run it all? And what about getting a Widder electric heated vest and gloves, which would surely push you over the power limit. Good thing the iRiver and portable amp can run on battery - what about the Radar and GPS?
October 3, 200817 yr Tyll talks about the power needs either in his first post or in the link. Please don't use that freakish Yoda thing as your avatar. Please.
October 3, 200817 yr The people behind me have a lot more to worry about than that! I forgot to ask, will you have enough power to run it all? There is plenty of power in a Heinz Baked Bean tin that size.
October 4, 200817 yr Please don't use that freakish Yoda thing as your avatar. Please. Why not? You have.
