Cute kitty, Justin. Get him to the vet asap to get checked out. He may have worms or mites, which is very common, or any variety of things that are easily treated if taken care of early. He looks like Ivan's little brother.

The ASPCA recommends that if you find a kitty and don't see any signs you just keep them rather than turn over to a shelter hoping the owner finds it. Bird in the hand and all that...

Boo is right, vet visit ASAP, oh, and no In and Out burgers for kitty. Start mixing dry food into canned food, and slowly increase dry/decrease wet. Go with a good quality food from the start, it's important.

His wet eyes and nose might be a heath problem - our kitten looked like that when we adopted her (kennel cough). Still, he looks like a keeper, cute cat.

Anyone know if ferns are toxic to kitties? I've got an overgrown fern I'm trying to give away for me mum. The species is American fern, as far as I can tell. I've got a couple who might take it, but they have two active cats. Is there any danger if the kitties munch on a bit of fern?

Knuckles, ferns are toxic/poisonous to cats.

Our cats think Libby's changing table is a great place to nap.

BTW, I've switched Suzy to Blue Buffalo dry dog food after much research. It's been about 3 months, and so far so good.

BTW, Bobby has grown to a full 16 pounds! So he didn't stay a runt, not at all. And he's very affectionate. I bought him an enormous cat tree, and he spends 90% of the time that I'm around in the chair right next to me. He seems much happier if he has one paw on me. <3

This, on the other hand, is Batou -- he's got crud on his face mostly because of a misunderstanding, but now he smells of vanilla/condensed milk and isn't blind, so all's well.

Gotta get a pic of my cat, he was a furry beast that - even with daily brushing - still got knots like dreadlocks. So he was shaved......looks like a lion now, with little kitty Ugg boots, a wild mane, and a little clump of fur at the end of his tail.....

New family member... Have had her a week now. Getting along pretty well with our 3 year old cat Abby. Her name is Kylie.

Glad she's working out. Kylie sure is happy about it.

A friend of mine recently got a new Abyssinian after the death of her first one. I've now met the cat a couple of times and he is absolutely awesome. Extremely affectionate and totally acrobatic. My son got to meet him too and fell in love. I've never (and I mean NEVER) been a cat person, but for the first time, I could see myself having one if it acting like this Abyssinian.

Monkeys and cats traditionally don't get along well. You throw poo and they bury it.

But there are exceptions to every rule. I approve of your future purchase of said Abyssinian.

I've been listening to dub techno in the background all night. My cat has started plucking the chair backs. It's kind of like dub techno.
