I bought the Schiit Asgard to be trendy and cool for 15 days. True story.

I was thinking of pre-ordering the Valhalla to try out with my HD600s. Then I read that they (Schiit) feel the Asgard does a great job with Sennheisers. Hmmmm, which to order....?

Any thoughts? The thoughts don't have to be about amp choice either...

$275 on audiogon with a couple 6n23p russian tubes from upscale audio. I just hate to wait for a Schiit...

chuke, although the V3 is probably the "most correct" sounding it was to me boring as compared with the V2. However the sound is not for all since the V2 does color the sound a bit more, say tubey/euphoric. I call it fun and engaging, it gets my feet tapping. Good luck.

Take the money you'd spend on shitty amps and shitty headphones, combine them, and get JH13s

HD600s and that schiity amp will be fine for me. I maintain low expectations. My hearing sort of sucks too.

Plus, I'm a homebrewer, serious cyclist, and avid drinker. That's where most of my money's spent.

Some people just know all the magic words...
