I've also taken to oven cooking bacon, pretty recently.  Very shallow tray with grease proof paper, fan oven on 200C for 15 to 20 minutes.  Yummy.

I use two cookie racks. One to get the bacon up off of the baking sheet, and then another, turned over, setting on top of the bacon, to keep it flat.

I love my bacon broiled. I use a broiling pan if I'm cooking a bunch or something like Grahame's set up just for me.

Broiling and turning once gives it a crispy Chicharrón taste.

Two of these for dinner with some of my best friends from law school.
