  2. for scale None of those chairs are in the sweet spot. But I did find a room for Ric.
  3. Thank you, n-maher! I did see where a gent sent one in to be repaired by Niche. @luvdunhill I did not clean mine frequently, but it is worth going in there every now and again IMHO. Very easy to do and there's a few vids out if you like having a reference. HS
  4. On a trip last weekend up the north shore of Lake Superior with my girlfriend and a wolf crossed the highway between Grand Marais and Grand Portage. My girlfriend rolled down the window and snapped a picture. I lived in the Northland most of my life but never thought I'd see one in the wild like this.
  5. Okay one more - dude's shorts kill me.
  6. Well, buying used is always an option, but you then run the risk of parts may need replacing, depending on age use, etc.. A new amp should give you more peace of mind. What does the BHSE offer over the KGST? I have listened to a couple of headphones on a BHSE, and I can say it is a great amp. I have also listened to the Carbon CC, which is an outstanding amp as well. I have yet to listen to any of the KG series and would love to compare them to some of the others I have listened to.
  7. Exactly right. My own little slice of heaven. It has honestly been a really good post so far.
  8. Did anyone watch even a highlights video of the pre-season tests? Wondering if Aston Martin is playing low profile.
  9. I've seen a bunch of her videos, but I've never heard her sing
  10. Interesting, never even attempted to clean mine - maybe I should?

  13. Some quick googling suggests that if you contact Niche, they'll sell you a motor that six months or so ago would only run you ~$70+ import fees (~$50 at the time). Might be worth a shot? If you decide to move on, let me know. I'd like to have a go at fixing it.

  19. Well, after 6 years my Niche Zero appears to be giving up the ghost. The electric motor got hung up grinding 20 grams of espresso beans. I took it apart, cleaned it well and reassembled...same thing. I tried pour over beans just for grind and it's the same...the motor appears to have weakened to the point it needs to be replaced. I prefer to have one grinder that does both my regular (machine / pour over) and espresso beans. Any recommendations for a high quality grinder...preferably of the low maintenance variety like the Niche has been. Thanks! HS
