I need to get a handle on my family's spending so I have started looking at software to help with budgeting and tracking spending. The 2 that I am looking at: Mint is web based and looks like it might be OK. YNAB You Need a Budget is a software program that looks good as well. Anyone have experience with either of these? Any other recommendations?

I have been out of the loop for a week or so. I don’t know what’s wrong with these people, it’s like they are smoking crack whilst making deliveries or something. Last week I ordered a few Filco keyboards off of Amazon. I had one to be delivered to my office, one to be delivered to my home. Ontrac batted 0 for 2, it’s like a bad joke. Guess I just have the worst luck/bad effin week. I was browsing the web and found something I thought is pretty cool, but couldn't find an existing thread to post it in. I saw the "Day with Tim Lincecum" piece on CSN where he shows off his apartment in Seattle, and he mentions where he got what I think is a pretty badass table. Just thought I'd share. We're all pretty happy around here today that my friend and former colleague Getty photographer Joe Raedle, AFP photographer Roberto Schmidt, and AFP reporter Dave Clark were released unharmed today after being captured by Libyan forces on Friday. Considering what a nasty place Libya has turned out to be (50-some attacks on journalists and a couple of fatalities in just a couple of weeks) and the circumstances of of Joe's going missing, which weren't auspicious, we were sweating it big time. ...today a co-worker informed me that she had bought five bottles of Flor de Cana centenario duty-free at the airport in Nicaragua. When she arrived at the states, customs told her she could only take two and that the limit isn't an airline limit but TSA's limit (though she did say the guy was a complete douche). This seriously sucks, as I wanted to bring back at least four bottles (two Flor de Cana and, if found at airport duty-free, two Havana Club, if not, some other stuff). The thing is, I can't find anything on TSA's website concerning the limit of bottles, and my coworker admitted that just three weeks before her husband had returned from Nicaragua with five b…
