Our non-profit, Communities of Belonging, are so happy to be having our 4th annual Walk for Belonging as a part of the national Second Chance Month. April 26, 2025, Green Lake, Seattle... As with many non-profits, we are always struggling with funds to keep things running. And sad to say that our mission is under direct attack. I always find this day sad, but this year is more poignant to me due to the 30th anniversary attention, etc. Growing up, I lived on the 22nd floor of the building next door to the Dakota. We saw John and Yoko with some frequency. I later went to grammar school with their son. They were unpretentious, unassuming, and decent. I am thinking of getting a security camera for my office as I think that the cleaning person like to hang out in some of the offices with couches here. May also get one for the house since we have a dog and it's easier to check up on her that way. Any recommendations? I am not sure how the wifi with the camera might work since we have to log into the wifi here to use it (not just put in a pw). So maybe bluetooth may work better? I have a Mac at home and in the office. I was looking at Nest.
