My small town's Art theater just showed it last night, however it's been out since late december. Did any of you get to see it? I absolutely loved it however I understand that I'm in the minority.

I know I've started two threads in the digital section. Both of them weren't advertising, I was asking for help with two particular DACs. I'm trying to find one I created in February 2007 and it's not in my history of created threads (though two very old ones are) nor is it coming up on search. Is this normal?

Could this movie suck any more than it already does? I don't even know where to start: the shitty, cheesy dialogue, the horribly uneven pacing, under-developed villains, way too many musical numbers, I could go on and on.

For some reason my Firefox browser is running like crap as of late. I'm on a 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4, got 2 gigs of ram, I've defragged-run Tech Tool Pro and it still has been loading like molasses. I've ended up going back to Safari at the moment. I don't really have that many extras on mine, I've downloaded the latest and copied it over the old one... and no luck. I'm at the end of my rope. Any suggestions?

I am currently reading Kirkman's Walking Dead series. It's quite good, quite "human" -- reminds me a lot of Y: The Last Man, in a lot of ways (apocalyptic epic).

Just set mine up on the home network and opened the required port at the office so I can peek in on ESPN during my breaks. Man, this thing is sweet! Wish I'd had it when March Madness was in full swing. Still, that darned thing is COOL!! Snagged a 4 port Slinglink so I can pop in a Squeezebox, DVD player, and a couple more items, too! Man, I do love tech toys!

Has anyone ever had to read this pile of shit? I had to write 10 "journal entries" on it today, it took me 4 hours just because the thing is so damn boring. I can't read more than 15 pages at once without having to stop. I want to jump in front of a moving truck after reading it. I asked my mom, who loves to read, if she had read it, and all she could say was "I hate that fucking book". And I found a 10 line runon sentence. Aren't there more important things to teach in school?

Holy shit. It blew my mind. The best movie I've seen in a long time. I have to see Shaun of The Dead and all that other stuff now.

I payed for upgrades to my amp in mid-december, but I still don't have it. I called last week and supposedly it's done, but I still haven't recieved shipping info as promised. What the hell do I have to do to get my amp?

So last Friday I get a notice at my apartment that says they're checking everyone's fire extinguisher to make sure they're all up to spec. No biggie. Cleaned up everything, left the extinguisher on the counter just like they asked... no problem. I get home about 6:45pm tonight. Never guess what I find in my lock? Their copy of my key... on their keyring... in the lock... my door unlocked as well. Guess I should consider myself fortunate that no one grabbed any of my stuff. Unbelievable. I'm gonna play stupid and let them think they lost it.

Great movie. I can't think of any reason why anyone shouldn't see this flick. It took me a little while to see it, because when it was first recommended to me it was called a "dark comedy". And while in general I like "dark comedy", sometimes I find the term "dark comedy" actually means "boring" and "not funny" (think Death To Smoochy). Lots of fantastic acting, from the oldest actor (heroin using grandpa played by the always kick ass Alan Arkin) to the youngest actor (little girl, character named Olive), the characters are all real and engaging. Anyone else think this show is just the fucking bees knees? I got into it this past fall. I downloaded the miniseries off iTunes because it was strongly recommended to me from some friends, and from there I was hooked. Watched every single episode until I caught up somewhere in the middle of season 3. I'm enjoying the new episodes (and for the record, I'm enjoying the Dresden Files which is airing before BSG on Sundays, but still not as good as the books).
