I want to get a Nikon d90 body and most places offer it at around 900 dollars but there are a couple of places that offer it for about 550. Are those places safe to order from? They don't seem overtly sketchy but I rarely order things outside of amazon.

Greetings Head-casers, I was just wondering if anyone here had sold or posted any of their gear using Audiogon auctions. I'm in a bit of a situation because I need to sell my preamp as fast as possible in order to fund some textbook purchases for school. I have a standard listing up at Audiogon, but was considering taking it down for an auction to speed up the sale. What do you guys think?

I've decided after reading the "i guess i listen really loud" thread that I'd temporarily donate my sound level meter to who ever wants to use it. That way anyone that wants to determine safe listening levels can do just that. You won't have to worry any more if you're destroying your hearing. Here is what I propose. I'll ship it to the the first person that wants it. After they're done they'll ship it to the next person on the list, so on and so forth until it gets shipped back to me in the end.
