Link To SFS Store Anyone heard this? I've really been enjoying the Living Stereo / Fritz Reiner Mahler's 4th, and am thinking the above might be a great way to get the whole cycle in glorious SACD sound.

I have A Go Go and the Medeski Martin & Wood collaboration under the name Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood, Out Louder, and enjoy them both immensely from a musical standpoint (I love fusion). What else should I get next?

I just started to mess around with the online radio stations with the SB3. Just curious what your favorite online radio stations are? I'm mostly interested in jazz, classical, blues and experimental rock but any and all suggestions are welcome.

Hey there any Mule fans, I picked up a copy of Deepest End this weekend (2 disc live + Dvd) - wow. For some reason I have never really given them a good listen and now am kicking myself for skipping them when they were in town last go round. Anyway, I am going to pick up more. Some of you folks know that I'm a fan of early recordings. One of the attractions for me is the combination of music, scholarship and cultural anthropology. Is it just me or has Country music made a rather large shift? I'm a fan, but it's not exactly known for a tradition of embracing the future (not to mention racial harmony, gender equality, modern technology/alternative fuels, harmonious international relations, etc.). A single song, by a not overwhelmingly talented artist, but is this a sign of the genres future? So a few days ago I was leafing through Guitar Player at the local library when I came across a short article on Wolfgang's Vault. It's a site which has a ton of cool memorabilia, but that's besides the point, it's the home of Vault Radio which has turned out to be the best internet radio station I've ever come across. The playlist has tons of songs from live concerts by Albert King, Hendrix, Jeff Beck, The Band, and many other rock artists from the 60's & 70's. Been listening to it ever since I found it.
