  2. Someone else's pic of Tim filling his GTR at the restaurant with E85. Averaged 7 MPG for the run. Having not spent a lot of time driving around with GT-Rs before, I had not realized how massive this car is.

  3. I'm not sure when this changed, but I hooked up a NTFS usb drive to my mac pro last night and was able to move a bunch of files over. I expected it to not work, but decided to try it anyway. No special software to do it, just native in OSX. The reason this matters to me is that my piece of shit HP elitebook will only let me format to NTFS. Even that has to be done in command line, I assume because of my work's security settings. That makes things about a 1000 times easier. I love this new computer so much.

  4. Jeff begs for more pics and doesn't even bother to "like" Al & Al's Cars & Coffee. Sad.

  5. Hard to believe the traction that the LGBT community is gathering. I find it truly astounding.

  6. AcquiredTaste, welcome to head-case! Rest assured, no need to "acquire the taste" of this place hahahahahahahaha HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH YEAH WELCOME! OmerYair welcome good sir or ma'am! The wonders of head-case lay before you. Delve deep and ye shall go deep. stewing, welcome to head-case! Apparently we are more of a sous vide place rather than a stew place. I myself am not really sure what sous vide is but I think it has something to do with boiling meat in ziploc bags. I can't say this excites me but good warning, there are some weirdos here, the kind of people who boil meat in bags and think they are fancy because the method has a french name or whatever. To all of you: each journey begins with a single rain drop on the path to enlightenment/headphones/boiled meat/and apparently whiskey.

  7. Al & Al's Random Cars & Coffee in Leland Michigan yesterday: There was an angry mob coming from Flint and spurred on by the petroleum lobby to burn this interloper down to its electrical sockets. And this is the one that started it all: a 1964 Amphicar fresh out of Lake Michigan. Very fun to see this up close And beyond the water dripping off the back, there is some lake algae on the bumper to prove its recent swim

  8. It's been awhile since I used it, but last time I had a Windows machine I cared about ESET (commonly referred to by it's antivirus NOD32 name) was a great resource light option. And I say that working for a competitor.

  10. Well, the leagues are operational, maybe only I get a notice. I need to figure out how the Keeper's work. It is usually some formula where you lose either the draft spot in which you took the player last year or some variation of that draft spot +1, +2???

  11. Officially the Latter Day Church isn't happy (whose members account for a 17% of all scouts and an even higher percentage of troops). They may very well be posturing before caving, but evidently the BSA vote was done during the time of year when most weren't meeting. Requested delay. Didn't get. Lost vote. Oops. http://www.mormonnewsroom.org/article/church-re-evaluating-scouting-program

  20. Got ready to tow my parents trailer to Cape Cod tomorrow. I'm a little nervous since I've never towed anything, let along a 26 foot camper! But I'm sure it will be fine so long as I take it slow and easy. Wish me luck! I can't wait for my yearly lobster dinner. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
