Decided that I want a fun little sport car and this was the most cost effective way to achieve that. It's also very good looking in my opinion. As predicted by many the coolant line clamp in the lower part of the car had not been pushed on hard enough and came off.5 points

We stole the idea from my left coast brother Al. And they were delicious. Thanks Bro! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk4 points

I would just trade up to a Ford GT if I was you. Better safe than sorry I say.3 points

My bet is you'll be fine. Probably something as stupid as a single hose clamp, fitting or something along those lines. Looks great, that's for damn sure.2 points

RIP Keith Emerson Saw ELP 4 times, including with the full orchestra they hired (until they ran out of money). First show of theirs I saw must have been after Trilogy came out, with Blue Oyster Cult opening. Emerson did one thing with the Hammond that sounded like a steam train starting up. He had it on its corner, was bouncing it up and down on the stage, and even using knives in the keyboard to hold notes down. Amazing show. The quad show for Welcome Back My Friends was amazing too. I could have seen Carl Palmer a couple of months ago in a smaller venue but didn't make it.2 points

Best not to dwell on it IMHO. Enjoy that new car smell and find some new favorite roads.1 point

Not perfectly but they did clean up. I asked twice and was assured it was cleaned but by the time I got there I just wanted to get it home so I let it go.1 point

You are going to love the Focus ST. Hopefully a bad first impression doesn't sour you more than it should. Mistakes happen.1 point

This is a US built one but I expect it to be around the same as elsewhere. Hopefully I am OK after this issue. Maybe I should have gone WRX.1 point

Sorry for the bad luck, Chris. I wish they reimburse you or give you a new different one. My mother in law and brother in law have diesel Focus, they aren't particularly happy with them, the cars have been needing little fixes quite frequently. Only my MIL's had some serious issue with the clutch and gearshift IICR, fortunately while still covered by warranty. I'm not really a fan of Ford cars, but they're not probably the same in Europe as in the US.1 point

Nope if the transformer is of good quality. Those switch mode units I wouldn't touch.1 point

The new pre-aged Cubans are rather legit. Perhaps we should organize a box-split1 point

Shit. Listening to "America" by The Nice from the Elegy album right now. I came to Keith Emerson through ELP probably via "Lucky Man", which connected back to Greg Lake and my early findings of King Crimson (yes, I am fucking ancient). But his stuff with The Nice, as Craig pointed out, was awesome, and broke the ground for what ELP would become. To hear it was suicide is sad. But I do not pretend I know what his circumstances were. I just know I am glad to have his music to go back to. A little West Side Story anyone?1 point

Just be sure that coolant that hit the hot head, etc... is removed...it can stain aluminum and some other bits. They ought to do something nice for you like offer up a few detailing jobs...don't let them off too cheap if you keep it. HS1 point

I am sure I can get my money back at this point. I am open to them fixing it. Things happen but if they start dicking me around I will get upset. No sign of that yet.1 point

God damn, that was an amazing biscuit this morning; first one since Colin was here. **BRENT**1 point

Last Saturday I went to the Other Minds 21 Festival at SFJazz. An evening of wonderful cutting edge music. My fav was a suite by Canadian composer Nicole Lizee. David Lynch Etudes is a multimedia piece and I believe it was the premier. Mind bending and borderline scary! Here's a sample of one of her earlier suites with Hitchcock as the subject (I'm totally diggin all her stuff!).1 point

2 hour talk after work today. Not a completely linear discussion, but it went very, very well. I think he had actually been waiting for me to announce my intentions for more work. Nothing official yet but I don't see any other outcome other than this. With my degree being in graphic design, it makes sense for me to absorb all ads and design work. I already do our publishing, so having 1 person do the ads, the publishing and web makes a lot of sense. Less cooks in the kitchen and no one to slow me down. My obsessive traits pay off here. And nobody knows what I do for the web so I'm pretty much positive I've locked that down and will be making it a stand-alone department, previously being under marketing. (Marketing person is leaving) this will be way more efficient if I call the shots for everything digital. didnt talk titles or pay; I've never done that. Work ethic always takes care of that, but I'd be amazed if base pay doesn't go up substantially. He's not an idiot. tl;dr more bitcoins.1 point
