  2. I'm well! Sorry, I haven't been around much, I should have more news on life soon. Hope everyone is doing OK on HC as well!

  3. My '77 Long Murex has returned from Pilot USA! I couldn't be happier. They not only repaired the small issue with the cap, a very careful restoration was done to the pen, with a conservative polish on worn areas. It doesn't look new, and shouldn't, being a 40 year old used pen, but it looks fantastic, and writes amazingly well. I hadn't noticed that the nib was slightly bent, previously, but it writes like a dream, now. I couldn't ask for a better writing and feeling Japanese fine nib.

  4. It is frigging awesome. You can literally grab a robot, rip its arm off and beat it to death (recall it) with the arm. Note if you don't want to rip your cable out of your goggles when diving to dodge bullets it's a good idea to have some cable management: adjustable dog leash for the win: I almost wrecked my goggles....

  6. Unholy carp, just a minute in, and I'm already in love. Purchasing. Going to pre-order their next album in the 24/96 format, yah? EDIT: Never mind, it's not really "their next album", it's older material worked into the big band format -- so, their Sylva, as it were -- but still, glorious, my thing, definitely getting it...

  8. Which is far betterer than rotten slimey deceitful skullduggery and outright dishonesty. These are the type that when asked to break a nine dollar note don't even blink an eye...... Then pull out their wallet and exchange it for 3 three dollar notes......

  10. Mine has been on Nougat for quite a while now (7.1.1 now) and while I am not a power user by any means, I have no complaints. It has worked flawlessly as far as I am aware. Obviously I cannot speak to your particular device.

  11. With top Thanks. I buy my boxes in MODU and then I do the mechanised ones myself with the help of a drill, Dremel and a lot of patience. That's why my boxes have simple designs and are so similar. I admire the cases that make other members much more elaborate than mine but with my tools and skills I can't do much more.

  13. Loved Love & Rockets, but I am now more of a Tones on Tail guy. Not sure it matters, I should probably revisit all my old Love & Rockets CDs.

  14. Documenting how these are configured: Vbe multiplier: R17-R18: 3.3K R62: 1K VR3: 20K R19-R20: 2K Mods: Cordell zobels: 100pf / 90.9R from gate to ground (Cordell uses 39pf / 100R) Fair-rite ferrites (2773009112)) in series with gate resistor (cut gate traces) Gate stoppers: 47R Current feedback loop: 10K / 1K / 10pf (R55 / R56 / C1). I will try going back to the stock 1K / 100R on this. I would not even consider using the mid feedback point; last time I tried it (after board was working), it oscillated badly with no phones/output plugged in. I am going to solder the jumpers in place on this.
