Result! Easily the best that I've managed. 3 min per side on a 600F grill and just a few minutes in a 225F oven. Pulled when the probe just touched 150 although I'd argue this is on the rarer side of medium, which for me was perfect. The wife's smaller piece was just slightly more done, also more to her liking. I am a happy man.10 points

Nice! I went the other way around tonight. Ribeyes at 265 degrees indirect on the grill until they hit 115 internally, then seared in a very hot skillet. Came out medium rare with a nice thick crust. Sorry no internal pix, I was hungry ...5 points

Went to see Shakespeare's gore-fest Titus Andronicus in Stratford. We had one guy stabbed to death and castrated, and his wife multiply raped, her hands cut off and tongue cut out. Two others were strung up by their feet and had their throats cut, and then baked in a pie and fed at a banquet to their mother. I actually lost count of the number of people killed, and in how many creative ways. It is basically a revenge tale which quickly got out of hand in a seriously big way. Titus was played by David Troughton, the son of Patrick Troughton (the second Dr Who). When the actors came on to take their bows it looked like a scene from a horror movie - all of them soaked in stage blood. https://www.rsc.org.uk/titus-andronicus/3 points

Changed my provider yesterday, in order to spare 20 € per month. Download is a bit lower and not as rock stable as before (sometimes goes down to 800-820), but upload significantly better : Ali1 point

So I will probably win the day, post wise with this one. I was trying to grill burgers last night, and the grill wouldn't light. Kept trying for a bit. Nothing. Then boom. Fireball went up while I was close. Singed hair and beard and eyebrows (and I just had those waxed!!!) Grrrr. Oh, the pièces de résistance? My breakfast yesterday: **BRENT**1 point

True HC style we'd be talking about getting legislation passed to keep Brent from ever having biscuits again. Oh and there's a DAC somewhere in the background.1 point

Well, I got it from the horse's mouth in 1991 when we (Wharfedale) bought Cambridge Audio. NAD's founder Martin Borish was also involved at some point. He was trying to sell NAD and was putting out feelers for Wharfedale's potential interest, so I asked him what NAD stood for. In the end he sold NAD to a Danish outfit IIRC.1 point

Evidently I was paying too much attention to Ric and my teeth and my cousin Harvey got mad and is coming for me at full strength.1 point

And yet still more manly than my lack of the grilling gene. Though I did date a guy named Gene once.1 point

Nice build you've got there Purk :o) Un-twisting the output wires, isolating the AC wiring and some hot snot to further secure the caps would be an easy fix.1 point
