  1. Loose Dry fit for the Ipe/Sapele cocktail table. Hopefully it will get warm enough at some point in the shop to actually finish it.

  2. Now I’ve listened to CFA3smd something with switched mode power supply for almost 2 months and I’m happy with it. So, no plan for a golden reference supply. I’m too lazy and I think the switched power supply is good enough for me. Next “project” is how to power a Tube Hybrid. The Hybrid needs +100V, -5V and 6.3VAC for the tubes. The PSU has to be rebuilt. The amplifier board is finished, in theory…

  3. I waited a year for this stuff to dry -- apparently almost to the day -- and then jointed and planed it. Looks kinda similar. But now it's flat and smooth.

  4. Aretha Franklin - Aretha I grew up with the usual, Respect, Natural Woman, Chain of Fools. Sadly, I associated her with tv commercials and the past her prime singer. I decided to check out her first album. I'm glad I did.

  8. Thanks Al. It is a pretty clunky design as designing angular furniture is not my forte, but it will hold a drink without dumping it in my lap, so I consider it a win.

  14. That URL is weirldy optimistic sounding. In the parlance of our times "Big Bad Vladdy Daddy did a little fucky wucky and put the 'miss' in 'missile.'" Comment from 8 months ago:

  16. Recuerdos Augustin Hadelich 2022 https://album.link/i/1636275777 Example: A nice mix of Britten, Prokofiev and Pablo de Sarasate. Well recorded and performed.

  17. Sweet memories. Reggie & Bernie @ the height of their power. The title track alone is worth the price of admission and has always been a track I use to test out new phones/buds.

  18. Blue Lines (2012 Mix/Master) Massive Attack 1991 https://album.link/i/715864097 Example: Moving forward a few years. Now, I don't know if I ever listened to an entire Massive Attack album. I will be doing more of it from now on. It was way more diverse than I was expecting. I knew Unfinished Symphony and a few tracks from other albums. But I think my life would have been better if I would have known more about them in the 90s. I enjoyed this listen, partially because it sounded good, and also it challenged me from time to time. And then stupid HEOS started to play the Unleash the Archers album (above) again, without being prompted. But I am listening to Britteny sing to me while typing this and I am happy, so I cannot get too mad.
