Thanks everyone! My family has been in town this week so that's been nice. Had a cookout over at my mom's place + cake, not a bad way to spend the day.
Alice Sara Ott, Echoes of Life -- largely Chopin's 24 Preludes, Op. 28, interspersed here and there with other short pieces.
That album cover hurts my eyes, though.
EDIT: Oh, wow, she (Ott) wrote a piece on this one, albeit based on fragments of Mozart's Lacrimosa.
What a race!!! Fernando driver of the day for a reason. Alpine and Ocon must be very thankful. The second start is something I hadn't even imagined was possible
Very nice, ER.
I use a several year old food scale from Amazon we also use to weigh our pooch’s meals.
That scale looks very high tech relatively speaking.

Hiromi Uehara, Spectrum
solo jazz piano, I forgot how great this one in particular is.
E.G.,
This is just so insanely great!
I should also mention that it appears her entire back catalog (including personal favourites, Time Control, Brain, &c.) has been uploaded to streaming platforms Tidal and Spotify, so...yay!
That is rated lifespan at the maximum temperature, ripple current and voltage. Pretty insane conditions for most audio gear. Lifespan increases dramatically as temperature and ripple current fall to more reasonable levels.
Today in "no good deed goes unpunished" I divested myself of a bunch of things including a pair of JBL 630s from the mid 1980s. In the process, my wallet disappeared. I noticed it was missing when at the checkout of the local grocery store. Two calls later and neither place I'd visited had seen it. I've torn apart my house and my car, but it's just flat out missing. Great way to start the weekend.
