  1. One of my best friends moved from England back in ~1977 or 78. One of HIS friends (Paul) visited some time in the mid-80's and we showed him a bit of our hometown. Paul looks across the street at a lovely woman, and chimes in with "Oi, there's a noice bi' a crumpet....!" Biscuits, crumpets....it's all delicious! And yes, I'll third the "stunning" vote.
  2. RIP Steve Ditko. Hadn't heard of many of the characters he created!
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. Nah, have known & had this for years.....even "wore out" my first vinyl copy listening so much back in the day! But hadn't listened in a long time. Played it via my streamer when I set it up again last week, then had to listen again....
  5. Not sure if they offer Enterprise, thinking they may not; but scdkey.com has Home Pro and OEM Pro both of which I've bought before dirt cheap. No issues with activation and expiration.....
  6. Happy Birthday! I hope you're feeling well these days and having good fun on your day!
  7. Happy Belated!
  8. Second time listening to this in 1 week. A REALLY good album; a bit mellow but still classic Gilmour guitar....
  9. That is just fucking horrible! We have some of this in the US too, it absolutely sucks anywhere/anytime....quick slow and painful death is required for this asshat IMO.
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. Sorry, though, liquid in amps is trademarked by Cavalli. Though if he made a Liquid GS, the "GS" would stand for Godawful Shit.
  12. And it can be a business expense! A nice birthday present, even if it was bought due to another HW failure.
  13. If you don't even want to keep your machine on, you can get a camera hidden in a clock. THIS ONE can do WiFi and/or record to a memory card.....has some level of night vision, too.
  14. Happy Belated! Hope it was great!
  15. So very sad.....RIP Michael.....
  16. Made me think of a bunch of years back, had just broken up with a G/F and was attracted to a lovely lady at work. Couldn't tell how approachable she was, so I got to her by befriending her co-worker and buddy, who had some project meetings in common with me. Long-short: lovely lady was seriously committed (she got married to him), and I made a new friend of this wonderfully-crazy-funny 40-something year old (I was about 23 at the time). Met up with her a few times as friends after work, had a ball.... Side benefit was that I got to know the lovely lady, and she wasn't my type for personality/tastes - figures i liked the weird one!
  17. Spent a nice afternoon at my dad and stepmom's, good food & good people. Got a rare pic of me with my two brothers and sister (officially adopted step-sister, but...sister). I'm the one with the least hair. Oh, and the big smiles were not due to being together, but because of FLUFFY, which Alexa found for us (EDIT: I JUST found out, the backing band for Gloria was Psychotic Pineapple!)
  18. Wow, Grandpa, Father's Day, and Birthday! Nice trifecta of happy things!
  19. I don't have the stand and condom....and stop calling me Shirley.....
  20. Jim, if you didn't have multiple guns, I'd call you Un-American! ?
  21. Thought I recognized that....it was used in a Corona beer commercial....actually pretty well done IMO (the song and the commercial, not the beer). https://www.ispot.tv/ad/7aXW/corona-release-song-by-the-head-and-the-heart
  22. RIP Anthony....? And if this was suicide....bigger ?
  23. They deserved it, Ovie looked SO happy out there..... Funny celebration moment (hope it stays on YT):
  24. Whoa! Congrats on part 1, best of luck on part 2. Why the need?
  25. RIP Dwight Clark....and fuck ALS..... We saw a short on TV that - thanks to the funds from the ice bucket challenge - that there may be some more progress towards battling/curing ALS. I hope that's true....horrible disease to go through or witness....
