More good news, no channel imbalance issue with the replacement pair (for now at least). They are perfect cosmetically as well.

Replacement pair arrived today, I'm still at work so I haven't tried them out yet, but they are at least a different (and newer) serial # then the ones I sent in. This pair is serial sz9-2251.

Congrats on the new build - I have the previous generation Sabertooth board haven't had any issues with it. I went with one of Corsair's Obsidian line of cases, best decision I made for the whole build as it's very very quiet. Doing normal tasks I barely even know it's on.

Finally some good news, my replacement 009's are on the way and should arrive on Thursday.

Just hope your pair doesn't have or develop the channel imbalance issue that's going around. My pair developed it after a little while, I've been waiting 6 weeks for my replacement set. From what I can tell based on limited available info the channel imbalance issue has existed since the 009 were first introduced. They supposedly stopped production a year and half in to "fix" the issue but it clearly still hasn't been fixed. No one really knows what causes it and Stax doesn't say shit about it.

Congrats Vicki! Dogs are a ton of fun, as mentioned he could be a nice play toy for Ivan. Dogs are also quite a bit more work than cats, but you are in Florida so you don't have to deal with the letting the dog out when there's 10" of snow thing.

Hmm actually this is one of those things that tapatalk had initially turned on by default without telling anyone. So when I noticed it I turned it off - Dan complained about it but eh it was just Dan so I didn't care. I'll go ahead and turn it back on since it seems that you guys were using it as well.
