  1. Anyone used a Grace F9e? Almost snagged one today... seems quite interesting.
  2. You won't need heatsinks while it is unloaded.
  3. No. powering it up without those components won't tell you much if anything.
  4. I presume the front end on these is similar or the same as the SS Dynalo? If so, JFETs sound a lot better than the THAT340 does.

Gawd, you made my ears cringe with that... I think my '70 Chevelle SS had one in it. Never bought any 8 tracks, but played one in it once. Almost threw it out the window! Man were those things bad.
  11. R4 and R6 are crooked... tsk tsk.. EDIT: j/k BTW, they look great!

  16. Pretty cool video of a couple of endurance cyclists doing a 467km stage from the 1903 Tour de France on near period bikes. https://www.globalcyclingnetwork.com/video/can-we-ride-and-survive-a-stage-of-the-1903-tour-de-france
  17. Tried a recipe from a restaurant, Pastabilities, in Syracuse, NY as seen on DIners, Drive-Ins and Dives, called Wicked Chicken Riggies. Basically chicken and rigatoni in a spicy tomato cream sauce. Quite good and the whole family enjoyed it. I'll be doing it again. The recipe makes a huge portion of the sauce; I cut it in half and still have enough for another meal for 4. Sorry, I'd already started eating before I took the pic
  18. You normally just upload the .zip, not the individual files. I don't use PCBWay and didn't want to go thru their registration bullshit, but tried the file with seeedstudio and it worked fine. The Gerber viewer picked it up just fine, and it didn't look like it would be any problem.
  19. So I guess that GRLV board I sent Justin went to good use
  20. I would hope this would give the climate deniers a pause for thought...
  21. Never cased it.

We've gotten snow here in Chicago area twice this week (including Thursday night). I can deal with this kind of snow: a) don't have to go anywhere, and b) it doesn't stick to sidewalks and driveways, so don't have to do a damn thing about it
  23. I think you'll like this once completed!
  24. Not necessarily. First, it sounds like you are trying to measure these at too low of current. Look at the datasheet. The min hFe for the MJF15030/15031 is 40mA. They should ideally be matched at about the current they are going to run at, if possible,
  25. RIP Brian Dennehy... https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/16/entertainment/brian-dennehy-dead/index.html
