Shelly, I've heard the same rumor. However, I have access to a few bottles, and could probably make a deal for you on one. However, in my opinion, I prefer the SpringBank CV.
Ok, I have figured out what I need. Anyone have a recommendation for a flush mount pin socket? Also, called a miniature spring socket? Anyone used these before?
Frank, I am curious if you would consider the argument that sources which offer balanced output, even if this output isn't the one used, sound better on average than their single-ended only counterparts?
I'd contact this guy and see what he can do for you:

Perhaps just send the Gerber's to BatchPCB and get some one-offs made, or use the part position for your own veroboard layout.
Heading to the Fort and got bumped to first class! Yay! Any recommendations on a place to eat near BWI? Have a dinner tomorrow that I need to have an important conversation over
Does anyone happen to know the exact hole locations for the hifi2000 Galaxy Maggiorato cases? It seems .2"/.3" from the corner and a M4 countersunk screw. It seems that their tolerance isn't great, for example the corner radii.
Anyone keep track of the PcX discount specials? I'm wanting to get some Caps and am waiting around for the next special. If anyone happens to notice the announcement or has a feeling when it would be, perhaps you could post here?
you want a (room temperature vulcanizing) RTV that is suitable for PCBs. GE/Momentive make good ones. Google is your friend. Fry's sells it, of all places here in Texas.
Knob question!
Any creative ways to do any of the following:
multiple "preset" positions using a traditional pot
"lock" the position (could require removing the top to unlock)?
I'm thinking I'd have a shaft extender going back to a PCB mount pot. I guess a false front could satisfy #2, which is the real requirement. #1 would be cool if there was a way to do it, I'm guessing a mechanical solution of sorts is what I'm looking for.
